Found this Lebanese restaurant in Westgate and it’s honestly one of the coziest, best-designed places I’ve visited on this trip. The vibe is warm, relaxing, and the menu has some really great dishes to choose from. I tried their house-special chicken rice bowl and it was so different, flavorful, and really yummy. Perfect spot for a casual meal after walking around Westgate. Definitely recommend checking this place out.

Restaurant is massive and very spacious, which makes for a comfortable dining experience. However, the food needs improvement. Having visited several Comptoir Libanais restaurants, this location didn’t feel authentic and was nothing like traditional Lebanese food in terms of flavour and taste. Definitely can make it better.

Really enjoyed the experience here. Rahul was particularly helpful. Will certainly come back for more Lebanese food. A slight note for mixed grill lovers : Lamb kofta is much better than the chicken kofta.
Mezze Platter is worth trying..

Rahul, or service coordinator was a pleasure to deal with and made us feel comfortable and welcome.

Had an authentic dining experience at this Lebanese place in the heart of Oxford city centre recently.

Pictured below is the chicken shawarma bowl, which was a good single serving portion containing a well-balanced mix of vegetables, rice, chicken, and spices.

The falafels were also freshly made, filling, and aromatic. The wrap dishes were very flavorful and satisfying as well.

They offered a lot of sharing plates, making it an ideal spot for larger groups and family-style dining. Plates may be on the higher end of the price range but there are many options available.

There’s also a menu barcode at the table to scan for photo, ingredients, and allergens in each dish, which makes it easy for those who don’t east Lebanese food often to know what each dish contains.

The servers were very kind and mindful with allergies – I pointed out we had lactose intolerance and they were careful to recommend what dishes we can have (the chicken shawarma bowl had dollops of yogurt, but if requested can be removed).

This place was also nicely decorated and warm, which is pleasant to sit and dine in particularly during cold weathers.

Overall a very lovely place for a hearty meal, would be happy to visit again!

Thanks so much to Rahul, he looked after us so well. He was really informative and accommodating to our dietary needs (vegan). And checked on us through out the evening and we weren’t left waiting for more drinks. Very very good service!

The staff were attentive and friendly, which made for a welcoming atmosphere. The interior of the restaurant is also beautifully done – vibrant, clean, and inviting.

As for the food, it was a mixed experience:

Open Wrap Platter (Falafel/Halloumi): This was just okay. The falafels were unfortunately quite hard and lacked flavor. The bread also seemed store-bought, which took away from the overall freshness of the dish.

Rice Bowl with Lamb Kofta: Decent taste, but the portion of meat felt small compared to the rice. The bowl felt heavy and a bit oily — more salad would have helped balance it out.

Lamb Kofta with Butter Beans: Tasty, but again, the portion of meat was underwhelming for the price.

Chicken Samboussek: Disappointing. The filling didn’t taste fresh and reminded me of something that had been frozen and reheated. The tahini served with it was extremely bitter and didn’t pair well with the dish.

Overall, the food was okay, but felt overpriced for what you get – particularly with the small meat portions and a few quality issues. Service was great, and the space is lovely, but for the same price, I believe you can find better food elsewhere.

The atmosphere was really nice and comfortable, and the food was absolutely delicious. Everything was well presented and tasted amazing. We had a really good experience and will definitely come back again. Thank you, Anusha!

I am in love with this place. I am in town for a few days and I find myself wanting to come several times a day. The atmosphere and the music is spot on. The decor makes me home sick. So much care and taste have been put into everything. My food was excellent. The hummus is exactly the way my mom makes it. And the wraps are something you could find at the best places in Beirut. My daughter who is a die hard falafel and tabouli fan was very satisfied. I definitely recommend for anyone looking for a taste of home.
