When I rate something, its being compared to similar things. I consider Steak ‘n Shake fastfoodish… its ALWAYS fresh, but service is quick. Ive not been inside this location. But ive been inside other locations and I welcome the old school diner vibe so its gets a five.

Late night after 10pm stop. We were placing our order and the kiosk when the power flickered due to a thunderstorm. The manager took our order and said he’d give us the bill when the system rebooted. By 11pm they were still having tech difficulties. We said we could pay in cash or via the app and he said no. Comping our bill. We handed over a tip and thanked them. Great service!

New kiosk ordering system worked well. Food was served hot, fresh and fast. I enjoy every bite of my made to order double cheeseburger and shoestring fries. I will definitely be back!!

Usually, every time I visit this location, the service is great, the atmosphere is great. Past couple of times my partner and I have been here we’ve had ZERO issue. However, this most recent visit on 1/19/2026 between the hours of 8:15pm to 9:30pm with my partner, we experienced a very alarming and uncomfortable situation.
As we are dining, i was facing the back wall of the dining floor and my partner the opposite, facing the front counter. During this time, one of the cooks (male, tall maybe around 6″ 2′, muscular, chocolate milk colored skin) walked to the front counter and stood there leaning over something, speaking to another female worker, as they were in this position the male kept giving hard long looks at my partner speaking to this female worker, as if he was speaking poorly about my partner, possibly making judgements about my partner and his looks and appearances, I turned my head to look behind me when my partner mentioned it to me and when i looked back, he looked dead at me as well creating an uncomfortable, threatening, unsafe atmosphere for us both.
That kind of treatment from employees to guests and customers is unwarranted, uncalled for, and highly unprofessional.

Loved this steak&shake to start i was having trouble ordering from the kiosk im old school lol. Well this sweet girl came over i think she was the manager and helped me. The Triple steak burger was delicious as were the fries and milkshake as well . restaurant is spotless workers were very friendly food came out fast prices very good food made to order now that’s the Steak &. Shake I grew up with keep it up !

Odd that you can only order by kiosk, pay and buss your own table yet they ask you for a tip for the management before you even receive the food!? Otherwise, this is the best fast food ever, especially with the fries in beef tallow and their milkshakes. Even the beef now says grass fed wagu. Amazing!

Even though there are kiosks now It still felt like a trip back to the original steak n shake many years ago. I can remember going with my dad when I was little and now I get to experience that with my wife. We got milkshakes and Frisco melt and a western burger. They were cooked to absolute perfection. I have no idea why SnS isn’t so much more widespread. You get so much good food for a bang of the buck. The restaurant interior was clean, the staff was welcoming, and it was overall a wonderful experience. I enjoyed my visit and I am highly satisfied. Thank you!
