What a hidden gem!! Amazing, this made me feel like what it would be like to eat at a grandma’s house in Italy. I’ve never been, but this is what I think it would be like. The recipes and food are basic, fresh ingredients, some herbs, but not too much to overpower the fresh taste. Simply amazing and rustic. The dining area is old and outdated but didn’t bother me one bit. I had the lasagna, chefs kiss! We had to drive 15 minutes to get here, I would drive an hour if I had to. There really are not any appetizer options, you don’t need them, they concentrate on the main food, and it’s well worth it. The price is under what the quality is worth!! Go now!!

It was their anniversary and every seat was taken. Service was very fast and food was served hot. Not bad at all for $4.57 for lasagna. They are always good every time we visit. The prices very affordable.

Don’t let any of your senses deceive you,nor your brain. I made assumptions about Angelos that were very incorrect. I am so glad that I let my curiosity get the better of me and find out the truth.
TL;DR – Food quality is excellent, quantity is excellent. Price is stupendous. I got the Manicotti with white and meat sauce and am still thinking about it the next morning. Father loved the lasagna and son said the same about chicken Alfredo. 3 men ate till they were full and each of us had a soda and combined the bill was under $50.
Their lunch special is bananas price and im sure the same quality. Lucky for me I live within walking distance and will take advantage often.
Angelo’s is fantastic and I recommend eating there. I asked if they could do sloppy steaks also and they said yes, so there is that. They do not make things look fake!

Discovered this place way back in early to mid 80’s when I worked nearby. Fell in love with the baked lasagna! I just drove 20 miles round trip for some lasagna and a pepperoni/sausage pizza. Everything was still hot when I got home. Prices are amazing too.

Today, I took my colleagues here since I had heard great things about this place. Unfortunately, we had a horrible experience. The manager at the front was very rude. Gave us a receipt with a total and when we were ready to pay, she overcharged the plates changeThe prices after the waitress had already gave us a receipt and when I asked to speak to a supervisor she said that that was her will not be returning.Horrible, horrible service. And when going to the bathroom, there was dead. Roaches. No toilet paper.
Definitely, not returning.

We got vegetarian pizza and grilled lobster with shrimp scampi-spaghetti combo (I ordered with no baked potatoes). They came with salad. Very delicious. The waitress was very kind. The atmosphere was relaxing, most of the customers looked like they were local people. Love it. Will certainly come back again.

I used to frequent this place as a child. I haven’t been in about 10 years, and it hasn’t changed. The food tastes exactly the same. The service is the same. It was worth the 45 minute drive for me. It’s great to see a small business still successful

Absolutely love this place! Family friendly atmosphere, friendly staff, wonderful environment, and some of the most amazing food you’ve ever put in your mouth! If you’re looking for some of the most authentic, non-chain Italian cuisine, you HAVE to stop at this place! It’s a must have on the Texas food scene “bucket list”! A wonderful, long-standing, hidden gem in the middle of the DFW metroplex in Irving!
