We’ve eaten here for years best bbq around! Great owners and staff. The food is great! I usually get the ribs or sloppy Jake’s sandwich just tried the fried fish it was phenomenal!!! Steaks and baked potatoes look awesome going to try one sometime!

We stopped back at Jake’s Rib today the last and only time we had been there was 35 years ago. My wife was from OK and she took me there on my first visit. When we scheduled this trip back to OK Jake’s was on top of our list of things to do.
They did not disappoint at all. From the friendly greeting we received when we walked in to the quick service by our server.
The food was a good as we had remembered. The ribs were amazing the slaw and all of our sides were the best.
We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and couldn’t leave without a wonderful bowl of apple cobbler with a big scoop of ice cream.
Can’t wait to stop by again sooner next time. Do t pass this gem up stop and get some great food and hospitality.

Solid bbq place in town, if I’m in Chickasha for something, im stopping here for lunch. Its been abt 7 years since I last came here so I was hoping things were still as I remember. Food still good! Went for lunch on a Sunday, they were busy but no wait. We ordered the ribs, pulled pork, CFS, and chicken strips. Everyone liked their food. Side of fries were just as large as I remember, glad they have not cut back on the portions. Looks like the prices went up across the board compared to the menu prices on google, but that is everywhere now, serving size and quality of meat seemed to be the same as before.
Service from our server was great, only negative I have is we seemed to be ignored by the ladies at the front desk/host stand as we left, no thanks, see you again, etc., which i found kind of strange for a small town & a local restaurant…

Came from Lawton to Look for a vehicle and was referred by a gentleman, the food was amazing, proportion size was great for the price! It was like 2 meals in 1. Atmosphere was perfect and the staff were all friendly as could be. Definitely will be back! The bbq sauces were

14 OZ. Ribeye and Loaded Bake Potato plus a Salad was all delicious. I would recommend Jake’s to anyone, fantastic food at good prices.

The food was horrible. We both ordered smoked Turkey, very dry was sent back. We order sliced pork and sloppy Jake’s both were extremely fatty . Curly fries came out cold twice. Would not recommend this place at all. We waited 45 minutes for crap food.

A clue should have been the total, abject silence when we came in. People quietly picking at their food. When we ordered, it took about 30 minutes to get served, the server, while relatively ambivalent, was nonetheless very attentive and was working very hard.
Jake’s is known for huge portions. Maybe it’s a study in quantity versus quality.
We were in a party of 9, a lot of differing orders. One person pronounced the popcorn shrimp as “awful”. Imported? Three of us ordered the ribs, they were fatty and tough, and the silverskin had not been removed. Another had the Sloppy Jake, and said it had way too much sweet sauce. The highlight was the turkey; succulent, flavorful, melt in your mouth. The hush puppies were excellent. Potato salad could’ve used some more… something. A couple of baskets of fries were brought out as well, while they were somewhat soggy, they still tasted very good. A bit greasy, but, hey, they’re fries. Everyone had to take stuff home, because the portions are so huge.

The training server did well. The smiling trainee provided an empty A1 bottle, then an A1 bottle with 1 pour left and became empty, then, finally, an A1 with sauce inside that was more than halfway full. All smiles.
My medium steak came out in a pool of blood and appeared rare. When I asked for it to be placed back on the grille, it was cold. Ate it anyway and was tender and good, just cold. It was my first steak there, my usuals are ribs or a pulled pork sandwich.
The trainer gave us to go cups and was helpful.

Place needs new ownership, management, or pitmaster. Maybe even all three. You would think for A place that has the word “rib“ in its name those ribs would be spot on. They are not. Don’t waste your time or your money. The ribs I was served were hard as a rock. Even my dog had trouble dealing with the scraps I brought home. The skin or membrane on the bottom side of the ribs wasn’t even removed. Flavor was there, but I didn’t order jerky. Not to mention, , they charge an extra two dollars just to sprinkle some “seasoning“ on top. The best thing this place had going for it With regard to my order was the coleslaw and smoked turkey. Although the turkey was just sliced and thrown on the smoker for a bit to get some grill marks. The wait staff deserves an honorable mention for sure. The young folks running the orders were very engaging and polite. By the way, whatever it is with regard to the cut of meat labeled “sliced beef“ should be brisket in a place like this. Not even close to What a real barbecue joint would be serving. Why have such an amazing fireplace and not even have it lit on a cold night?
