My partner and I stopped in for an early dinner at Metro diner today and we were blown away! The food was fantastic (the chicken and waffles with strawberry butter is INSANE), the atmosphere was cozy and homey, and finally the service was great! Our server Michael was extremely friendly and funny. We felt like we were being served by an old friend that knew us and not just another server. We highly recommend y’all check this place out if you haven’t already!

Not my first time eating at a Metro Diner, but my first review of one. Took a few minutes to be seated, even though there were plenty of seats. I was a single so they didn’t want to sit me at a larger table or booth. My server was excellent, friendly, and stayed on top of things, including coffee refills. Te food was very good, as it usually is. However, they might want to get another cook. It was fairly busy, not slammed. 25 minutes to get two pancakes and two sausage patties is a bit slow. Another cook would solve that issue. Not enough to keep me away, but needs to be addressed by management.

Excellent food. Great home cooking. I had the ribs. They were really meaty, not fatty and tasted really good. The mashed potatoes and gravy side I had was outstanding!!!! But the Mac and cheese side I had was dry and not very good.
