Spicy spicy ramen! Super generous portions and great ingredients. I have a high spice tolerance and even the mild spice ramen had some kick to it. My girlfriend had to get extra broth to water down her medium spice ramen, so respect the spice here! I got the garlic tongkatsu ramen and added a soft egg to it, also tried the chicken and rice. Both were fantastic choices. This is a solid spot for some delicious ramen in the heart of Deep Ellum!

Very very good bowl of ramen. We walked in late after a long delayed flight into town. We really enjoyed the warm bowls of ramen and found them to have a pretty good amount of spice. We would definitely go back for another bowl!

The food is the main star of the restaurant. Had the ramen and a bowl of pork chashu. The ramen was rich and smoothing, the noodle was perfectly al dente, and had a nice level of spice. The chashu bowl had lots of meat to rice portion. The only slight issue was needing for sauce but you can probably ask for it. With the left over I combined the leftover pork chashu bowl and ramen broth and made a great meal similar to a risotto style. The atmosphere is nice to eat on a good day but too cold on the inside. Its all self served but that is fine. Oh and takoyaki was decently good. Recommend for the food, not the vibe.

Oni Ramen always hits the spot. The broth comes out rich and punchy without feeling heavy, and the noodles stay that perfect chewy texture the whole way through. Service is quick, the vibe is low-key and it’s pretty small inside.

Today I went and it just tasted really insipid, watery, and unflavored the only flavor in this bowl was the pork and egg. The broth tastes like spicy water. I was very disappointed cause it looked so good!! Very overpriced too.

Love this place; it was where my love and I went on our first date. The food is of excellent quality and there’s a lot of it! You will NOT be leaving hungry. And the pork belly is so tender… even the fat on it is not chewy – it melts in your mouth just like it should! My partner and I always say we are hiring them for our wedding (along with Nana’s dim sum in Denver). Yes, its that good. Also very chill environment. Some people were studying, some were on video calls, etc. I could hear my partner and the waiter easily. Decor is non-intrusive and functional – could be a bit nicer so I took a star off atmosphere for that, but everything else is top notch.

I went a couple of days ago to this location ordered food and was trying to sit down for a second because I was tired from work. As my bottom hit the seat, the bartender said, very loudly and rudely, “You need to get up. You can’t sit at the bar that’s for customers dining in only you ordered take-out.” The restaurant went a little quiet after that it was awkward and very uncomfortable. I was shocked. I have never had a negative experience with this restaurant or this location. I would not have sat at the bar if the restaurant was busy, but it wasn’t; there were 5 open seats at the bar and a lot of other empty spots to sit. If people were coming in of course, I would get up, I understand that the seat could sit a new customer with a tab that would tip him, I understand that. But I was a customer too. And I knew my order would be ready quickly since no one was ordering, and it was pretty empty. I had a terrible day and just wanted a hot bowl of ramen, so I was looking forward to it, only to get yelled at by the bartender in front of the whole restaurant. After that experience, I definitely will not be returning.

Very tasty ramen. Got the rich tonkatsu. Third tier spice. So good. And good portion too. Cool interior of the restaurant. Great im the moment choice if you’re walking around and wanna demolish your hunger. Very nice and helpful frontman behind the counter too.
