I’ve been to this place twice, food is pretty good, most recently I got the breakfast quesadilla which seemed a little pricey but it’s actually 2 servings. On both visits I called the order in and they told me it would be 10 minutes. I came 10 minutes later and they didn’t start making the food until I got there. I call in orders everywhere I pick up from because doing online ordering always has extra fees, and every other establishment (including the 2 other food places in this same plaza) has the food ready for me once I arrive. I wish they would get better with this.

I grew up dining here. Now 30 yrs later, the lady at the counter couldn’t even walk the food to the table- about 18 feet away. I ordered a machaca omelette and she brought me an omelette with ground beef. When I brought it to her she said machaca is carne asada. No it’s not sweetheart. Super disappointed and saddened. Who’s running the joint these days?
Oh and she charged me almost 30 bucks so… .

The food was good and the service was decent. I gave it a 3 star due to the condition of the place. The ice machine was not working and the soda had too much syrup. The place looks a bit older and needs some cleaning and some remodeling. I did see some things that need to be fixed. For food wise, I was good and I would come back. They just need to fix up the place.

This is literally a JOKE! Are you kidding me? First time here, ordered a simple 3 egg breakfast and this is what I got ! Sausage was burnt. The serving size is ridiculous and the eggs was disgusting! How can you mess up some simple eggs? They tasted old and rubbery! Looks like someone had ate half of the hash browns before sending them out Insane! Will never come back here again !

Heuvos Rancheros from Ted’s Place
On the inside: a classic LA diner with booth seating and large, bright dining interiors. The building sits a bit farther off Sepulveda so traffic isn’t heard much from inside.
I noticed a staff, using a slight positive racial profiling, determined there was a high probability of them making a solid Heuvos Rancheros
The depth of flavor from the salsa and the strong tortilla made this a go to dish. Meals include hash browns or home fries and toast.
The home fries were cooked near perfect with a quick strong outer grill creating a nice crunch and a medium cook on the inside.
I suggest dipping the buttered toast in the rancheros along with the hash browns.
When asked, the cashier preferred the hash browns over the home fries.
Nice and accurate service. A well maintained establishment.

The worst place ever I order a combo plate . It took 30 min to receive my order. Should’ve taken that as a hint . They gave me the food that looked liked beef jerkey the meat was so hard and dried . It was plain disgusting.. ohh and the rice was cold as hell … never ever again

Ted’s Place is the best place to eat everything they got on the menu the breakfast burrito got me so full and satisfied i didn’t have space in my stomach for more ,the costumer service was amazing and the food was amazing!!!!!! Definitely going back for more and sending all my friends to go get something too eat too !!!! It was really good !!!!!

The Chicken Teriyaki here is quite the find. I highly recommend it.

EDIT. I just realized since that day I have now been back for my 12th chicken teriyaki. I did try the mix of beef and chicken one time but went back to the chicken teriyaki with salad. I never choose the French fries so I don’t know how good they are I prefer the salad with Italian dressing.
