China Buffet is one of those spots that does exactly what it promises. Solid variety, hot food, and quick turnover so nothing tastes like it’s been sitting around. The hibachi station is amazing fresh, flavorful, and cooked exactly how you want it, which really sets this place apart. The classics hit the spot especially the fried rice and chicken dishes. Service is good and attentive with staff constantly clearing plates and keeping things moving. Not fancy, just reliable comfort food with great value. Definitely coming back.

This is a most authenic Chinese buffet that we have been to. The food includes some most traditional Chinese meals, such as Peking Duck, pig foot, steamed bok choy, sticky rice balls, and many other selections. The price is reasonable with beautiful enriroment. We would love to go back soon!

I have been a customer at this establishment for several years, and it was once known for its fresh food and consistently busy atmosphere, especially on weekends. Unfortunately, the quality has noticeably declined.
During my recent visits, the food did not appear fresh and seemed to have been sitting out for extended periods. It tasted overly salty, and the overall quality was not comparable to previous years. I first noticed this change last year and decided to give the restaurant another opportunity recently, but the experience remained the same, indicating that no improvements have been made.
It appears that food prepared earlier in the day may be carried over into dinner service, which affects both freshness and taste. At this point, the lack of quality control is disappointing, especially considering the number of other buffets that prioritize freshness and consistency.
Unless changes are made to improve food freshness, seasoning, and preparation practices, I would not recommend this establishment. Customers seeking fresh, high-quality buffet options may want to consider alternatives.

Godzilla! From Florence South Carolina to Charlotte NC the China Buffet is fantastic… So many great items to choose from with a great taste. Even the octopus was good for a first time trying. Just a short walk through a quiet neighborhood.

Stopped by for lunch buffet. The food quality was really good. Plenty of choices. The hibachi was good, the other food was also tasty, especially the fried chicken. They also have ramen/noodle soup which was also decent. Probably one of the better Chinese buffets around in Charlotte/NC. The weekend price was $18.99 all day. Plenty of parking behind the building.

The only good thing about this place was the atmosphere. The sweet and sour chicken trying to bite into it was like biting into a car tire just so rubbery. The foods had clearly been siting way past their prime and were definitely below serving temperature as well as improper labeling of foods because why did it say “sweet corn” above what I’m ASSUMING was mini bok choy??? Then to top it all of the bill was around 50 something for just to people for this horrendous experience then the waitress forced us to give her a tip like what??? Not letting us leave until we write a top down for you is absolutely ludicrous 0/10 would not recommend please spend your money elsewhere!!!

Good buffet! Very good selection and variety of dishes! Always fresh sushi, seafood and various vegetables! You can also collect different ingredients and the cook will make you noodles, it also pleasantly surprises you with 6-8 different soups! But there is a huge minus in this institution: it’s a super low temperature of air conditioners, so that people quickly vacate their seats and as a local expert I will only put 4 stars

This restaurant has a delicious buffet with many different options. As for the price, it is reasonable for the choices that you have. The staff seems to keep the bar neat and clean. I do recommend you visit during off peak hours. Friday and Saturday evening can be very busy. Lunch time is usually best. The buffet has a great selection of seafood.

This is the first time that I’ve eaten at this particular restaurant. I can most definitely assure you that, it will not be my last. I thoroughly enjoyed the Asian themed artifacts as well as the indoor fountain and just the overall general atmosphere was calming and inviting. Even with the crowds of people, the whole restaurant was exceptionally clean as were the restrooms. The multiple buffet table’s were all well-maintained, as were the Hibachi grill and the sushi bar.The staff were all extremely friendly and personable. Everything was handicap accessible as well. If you enjoy freshly prepared seafood dishes, a plethora of meat’s and vegetables to choose from as well as fruit and sushi, then this is a restaurant that you will thoroughly appreciate. They had kimchee as well, one of my personal favorites(fermented/marinated Korean cabbage). If you took the time to read this review, please take a 1/2 second and click like. Thank you.
