Great experience at Pita Inn in Mundelein! I had the vegetarian entrée and my boyfriend had the spicy chicken shawarma—both were fresh and delicious. The staff was super friendly and the atmosphere was really welcoming. We’ll definitely be back!

I ordered the combination feast since I couldn’t decide what I wanted. A lot of meat, chicken shish kabob, kefta kabob, beef shawarma, falafel on a bed of rice. Salad and pita complete the dish. I have enough left over for another meal.

Definitely the best pita inn, love the flavor of shawarma, hummus and drinks served here. We usually do takeout, but the restaurant has ample seating, and is quite busy. We recently tried their seasonal pistachio latte, and absolutely loved it. The cream was freshly prepared, and was decently priced.
