When I walked into the restaurant, I was told that I couldn’t use the restroom because someone was in the stall. Then, I asked was there only one stall and the employee just walked away.
So, I approached the counter to place an order and I was told that there would be a wait for chicken. I asked how long of a wait—- 39 minutes and I could only could order chicken breast.
I stated I’d like to have a salad and then I was told there was no lettuce, corn, or tomatoes.
This was my first time experiencing Nando’s PERi-PERi restaurant. I am disappointed and have no plans of returning.
The manager stated something about a truck did not show up, but that doesn’t seem to be my problem. You’re running a business in the capital of the United States.

Food was the only thing that was good. Inattentive service, they cared more about socializing rather than paying attention to guests and service. I ordered my meal to dine in and they packaged it to go only to realize 20 minutes later after the food was sitting on the window because a lady in the kitchen saw me waiting. No apologies no nothing. I guess that being on social media while on the clock is the new norm everywhere nowadays.

When I lived in Botswana in 2005 I used to go to Nando’s all the time… Then I heard they came to DC and started spreading across US. I was finally able to come to one here and I was not disappointed. Awesome service and great chicken. Definitely recommend

Loved this Nando’s location. The outside seating area is perfect on a nice summer evening. Every time I go to DC, I try to stop at a Nando’s; now, this location is the best one in my opinion.

This is the first time I had Nando’s in the US, what an impression! I ordered my favourite mango and lime flavour, which is good; the flavouring is good. However, HALF of the 1/2 Chicken I received is completely undercooked – I have to recook it thoroughly at home – fortunately it’s delivered to my home but somewhere else. The chicken skins are overcooked and bitter but the inside is bloody…See the real pictures and you will get what I mean. 3 stars for my previous experience in other Nando’s restaurants in the UK and Canada. BTW, Nando’s tart is not worth it

We had a catered style dinner in the upstairs dining area, and the chicken was roasted perfectly! They have a variety of unique sauces, and I would definitely recommend the Lemon Garlic! There are a couple of seating options including outdoor seating, a small dining room downstairs and a large open dining hall upstairs. The upstairs is a really cool space that is designed with an open unfinished concept

The food was good as always however the service is very disappointing. As someone who works In hospitality, I would not be pleased to find out my staff are not creating an inviting place to eat. None of the staff smile or even speak loud enough for you to hear them. Most of the staff are standing around on their phones and talking loud to each other. When my food was given to me it was handed to me like I was bothering them! Very disappointing

We got to visit this stunning Nando’s on a beautiful sunny day, the perfect day to utilize the covered patio. The service was fast and efficient, the staff was friendly and the food was world class. We had a great time and will come back every chance we get.
