Reviews
We ordered one set of steak & shrimp with fried rice, and another set of steak, chicken & shrimp with fried rice.
The chef’s performance was lively and fun to watch — lots of energy and fire, which made the experience enjoyable. However, the food could be improved.
The teppanyaki table seats about 10 people, and our table had three separate groups — 2 of us, another group of 2, and a group of 5. The chef cooked for everyone together, which made the show lively.
The fried rice was quite salty and the rice grains weren’t fully cooked through. We are Chinese and usually prefer lighter flavors, so it tasted a bit too salty for us. It might be better if the chef could let customers taste a small bite first, and adjust the seasoning for those who prefer stronger flavors.
We didn’t order noodles, but it seemed everyone got some — they were too soft, lacked texture, and even felt a bit cold, maybe because too much was cooked at once. The steak was decent, the shrimp were a little overcooked and tough, and the chicken was unfortunately very dry and hard to eat.
Overall, the chef’s show was great and the dining atmosphere was lively, but the food quality could be improved.
Our server took forever to arrive and messed up the order. We didn’t even complain because we were starving and just wanted to leave. The edamame was tasteless, and the fried tofu had no flavor at all.
The hibachi was greasy and bland, and the meat took an extremely long time to cook.
But this isn’t even my main concern. My pregnant wife got food poisoning and has been vomiting for the past 12 hours. We now need to take her to the hospital for IV fluids.
Truly a horrible experience. Never again.
