I came to Franco Manca in Oxford with my family and we all really enjoyed the food and had a very nice time. The food was very good! Fresh, well cooked, and full of flavour. Everything came out quickly and exactly as expected.
The chef, Andres did a really good job with the heart-shaped pizzas, they looked great and tasted even better.
What really stood out was the service. Our waiter, Frank, was incredibly happy, attentive, and friendly, which made the whole experience even better. He was always smiling, checked in at the right moments, and made us feel very welcome.
Frank also recommended the pistachio tiramisu, and he was absolutely right, it was amazing!
Overall, a really enjoyable experience with excellent food and outstanding service. Big thanks to Frank! I’d definitely recommend it and will be coming back.

Starters are always the star in Franco Manca! I love it always and love how quickly the items come out as well. Service was great as well and pizza and the stamps with the apps are great! The only issue is the small tables and having nowhere to put my coat and bags. It would help a lot to have some container below chairs to put table and some coat hooks will be great. Also tables next to the door is very cold and making this space with lesa table or having double doors to keep the cold air will be even better!

I visited Franco Manca Oxford for dinner with a friend, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience from start to finish.
When we arrived, we had to wait over 30 minutes just for someone to come and take our order, even though there were three or four staff members working. Instead of paying attention to customers, they were standing together laughing, joking, and chatting, which made us feel completely ignored and unwelcome. As first-time visitors, this gave us a very poor impression.
The restaurant itself did not look clean, and the overall atmosphere felt neglected. Hygiene and attention to detail did not meet the standards you would expect from a restaurant.
The food was also very disappointing. It did not taste good, and it was frustrating to wait so long only to receive food that did not meet expectations.
Overall, the customer service was extremely poor, especially from one staff member who appeared uninterested and unprofessional. This was our first time visiting Franco Manca Oxford, and unfortunately, it will also be our last.
I would not recommend this location based on our experience.

Excellent pizza in the heart of Oxford. The location is perfect and you’re spoilt for choice for restaurants. At Franco Manco the menu is minimalist which works out just fine for fresh oven bake pizza. Not only is the taste perfect but the price is excellent too. Definitely one of the best in Oxford

While looking for a late dinner in the city of Oxford, we found that the majority of restaurants had already closed their kitchen for the evening. Attracted by the smell of fresh sourdough pizza, we walked into Franco Manca and were lucky enough to have a seat.
I took the pizza cinque formaggi – a new suggestion on the menu. Apart from the traditional Italian mozarella, ricotta and smoked provola cheeses, it also contained some rather British flavours with the Stilton and goat cheeses. I asked for a supplement of nduja on the pizza, the sharpness and mild acidity of which went very well together with the soft gooey cheeses. The hot honey drizzle in turn balanced the spicy meat. Not only did it taste great, but also the chewy crust and the presentation with the fresh basil leaf was spot on.
Service was friendly and while they slightly messed up our drinks order, they were quick to correct it.

We spent an evening here before a 7-hour bus ride and we couldn’t have spent it better! Apart from the really nice and comfy interior I specifically have to mention the amazing food and service. Our server Daria was incredibly nice and forthcoming (you should give her a raise). She recommended the Christmas Menu to us and took care of all our wishes. We had the nibbles and the garlic bread (amazing!) as a starter and then had a vegan margherita (no surcharge) and the autumn special, as seen on the foto, which both tasted amazing, especially the dough. I definitely recommend getting the rocket salat on the side as it lightens up the meal and the dips (which are unlimited (!) with the menu) to dip your crust in. Finished it of with a really good tiramisu and a chance at the Tombola!!! The Tombola was a really fun way to finish up the meal and we went home with some nice goodies to try out. Will definitely come back to try some more of the Christmas specials 🙂

If you’re looking for authentic Italian pizza, this is your place. They’re amazing, the dough and ingredients are fresh. The chef, Andrés, makes the best pizza in town. He’s very friendly! And Francisco’s service was incredible. Everything was 10/10.

Franco Manca is by far the best pizza place I’ve been to. The sourdough pizza just doesn’t compare to anywhere else, and the staff are always lovely, such as Chris who made our experience run smoothly even on a very busy night.

If it says prosciutto (#4 on menu), i expect prosciutto, not wafer thin cooked ham from asda or sainsbury.
Also, while the kitchen staff are all in uniforms and with hats, the manager runs into the kitchen and out, also, handles pizzas, packs them and whatever else, in his comfy khaki trousers and a dodgy looking hairdo.
Stay away from food prep/kitchen or follow the hygiene/infection control rules, dude.
