We arrived in OCMD at noon after an 8 hour drive and needed to kill some time before our rooms were ready. Big Pecker’s was the perfect casual beach spot for some weary travelers. The staff was super friendly, the service was quick, and the atmosphere is light-hearted and laid-back—exactly what you’d expect from a beach bar with a name like this.
We tried the burgers, a chicken wrap and a salad—all were nice sized portions of bar food. The drink menu has a solid variety, and everything came out fresh. Great spot for groups or just a relaxed lunch. Definitely adding it to our Ocean City must-visit list. My first orange crush was alright.
Tip: Grab an outdoor table if the weather’s nice, and don’t leave without snapping a photo with the sign out front!

Anne T was our server. She was pleasant and prompt. Appetizers and food were out quickly. Drinks never emptied. We chose to sit outside in their unique outdoor seating area. It was noisy due to being located right on Coastal highway, but we were still able to chat. The stand out had to be the crab dip…everything was good though. Small souvenir shop (Cash only) prices were reasonable all around. Would go back.

Came in for dinner on vacation. Was craving a burger. Got the Mac and cheese burger. The burger and bun 10/10. The mac and cheese had a very artificial taste. (Like the Panera frozen Mac) however I really enjoyed overall. And thought was priced very fairly. Burgers under 20 bucks. We also got fried pickles as an appetizer which was delicious. A recommendation in my eyes if you are looking for something that’s not fish

Came for dinner on vacation 7/30. Great staff and the food was great. Really good french fries and burgers and for how busy they are the food comes out crazy fast. We sat at the outside bar and I forgot our bartenders name but she was great. The hostess was a super handsome, pleasant man with blue eyes and a good sense of humor and he’s definitely a great first line of defense. They have some great shirts in the gift shop too. (children not advised lol) We loved our trip to ocean city and dinner here really enhanced our time.

Worst dinner while in Ocean City! We ordered 2 hamburgers and 1lb of shrimp. The hamburger buns were cut so bad that what little we did eat of the burger, we ate without a bun. When we renoved the bun, the burger looked like it was a frozen patty & not fresh. The shrimp arrived with an obscene amount of seasoning. Luckily, I had a glass of water, because I peeled all the shrimp and cleaned them off in my water. The waitress only returned to our table ONE time and when we told her, all she said was, “Sorry about that” and dropped off our check after that. Not just worst dinner in Ocean City, worst dinner EVER.

Food was great and reasonably priced! We sat outside on the swinging tables, my youngest loved it! The waitress was friendly and timely with drinks and boxes. This was my second time here but a first for my husband and boys. They agreed to return when we vacation in the area.
