Had a good day here last weekend. Food was great, we went for a seafood platter for two (99 pp). Was delicious and was enough for the two of us without any entrees. Mocktails were ok but nothing special
Staff were very friendly. Accommodated for a bday request which I want to say a special thanks for!!
Nice views and good atmosphere and temperature inside, clean facilities
The only things to improve on are cleanliness – the menus were not clean and I needed to wipe the utensils (this is a big one) and perhaps signage (this is minor )to get to the place. We were walking from the open air public carpark, took us a minute to figure out where the restaurant was

Having lunch at our favourite seafood lunch venue before it closes on 31 January. It’s been the scene of many birthday and anniversary lunches since it opened in 1988 as one of the original tenants in Marina Mirage. I chose the Moreton Bay Bugs, grilled with Worcestershire Sauce while my friend chose the Whole Sole with Lemon Butter. This was accompanied by a glass of Tiefenbruner Pinot Grigio each. We left room for dessert and thoroughly enjoyed sharing the delicious Crepes Suzette. I’ll miss dining here and watching the world go by on the beautiful Broadwater and can’t wait to return once the $500 million redevelopment of the site is completed.

I’ve been dining at Omeros Bros since the day they opened at Marina Mirage, and it has always been an exceptional experience. The food, service and ambience have remained consistently outstanding over the years. The staff are impeccably trained professional, attentive and genuinely warm. Every dish is beautifully prepared and served with effortless confidence.
It’s truly sad to see this iconic restaurant close its doors after so many wonderful years at the Mirage. I can only hope they reopen elsewhere soon, because places like this are rare.

It started off difficult to find the restaurant as there was limited signage and I had to ask for help on where to go. The man who greeted us upon arrival was lovely and unfortunately that’s where the service ended. After we were seated, we waited quite awhile before we were offered a drink so I got up to order them from the bar and was told it was table service. The woman who was looking after us looked down on me in such a way that I immediately felt uncomfortable. She apologise for the delay in her coming and said it took her a long time to get us a jug of filtered water. I felt like she was being sarcastic as I had asked another waitress how to order.
I was then anxious unnecessarily blurted out that we had never been to such a fancy restaurant before and was excited about the experience I was sharing with my 13-year-old daughter to celebrate a success and for some self-care after a particularly difficult time.
The prawn cocktails were delicious but needed more sauce.
We ordered surf and turf, which was steak Morton Bay bug prawns and a mustard sauce. This meal was delicious but unfortunately the interactions with the waitress, limited as they were, made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable.
We were going to have dessert there, but my 13-year-old observed that the staff were all talking to other people but not to us in the same way, and asked me if we could go to McDonald’s for a sundae. She observed that maybe you had to be a local or known to the staff there to be treated better.
I hope the waitress was just having a bad night, and doesn’t treat all single Mums and their youngest kids with such disdain.
My daughter said the one star was for the man who greeted us and then said ‘Merry Christmas’ as we left.

Had a great dinner here! The lobster was delicious , the seafood soup was rich and full of flavour, and the service was excellent — friendly staff and a calm, cosy atmosphere.
The only small thing I noticed was that the fries seemed to be cooked in oil that might’ve been reused a few times — they didn’t taste very fresh.
But overall, it was a really good experience and I’d happily come back again.

Have not been here for ages and was not disappointed on my return.
Staff from the welcome were fantastic, attentive and generally great.
The cocktails were on point and the seafood platter was fresh, full of flavour and as you’d expect, a high quality.
The place was busy with many walk-ins being turned away but not noisy by any stretch.
Would suggest booking a table, particularly for a Sunday lunch as the Coast warms up.

An oldie but a goodie. This place is a cornerstone of Italian seafood in the Gold Coast. Slightly pricey so I’d recommend going for the set menu. I have been here many times and I think the barramundi in butter is beautiful. Oyster Kilpatrick is a must. They opened up another place called omeros fishbar which I also absolutely love.

Dont understand why the waitresess had to wear miniskirts. I felt sorry for them. The sea food chowder was absolutely beautiful. The Reef n beef, steak beautifully cooked but the sauce had a sour weird taste. The lobster was nice but the sauce sour. The price for reef n beef, lobster n steak definately not worth $190. The seafood platter. Octopus was dry n tasteless, prawns overcooked n dry. Tiny mussels were tasty. I was dissapointed overall. I expected execellence with the reputation.

After our whale watching at sea world , we went to a fantastic seafood restaurant located inside a shopping mall with sea views.
We took the waitress’s recommendation and ordered the seafood platter along with a Greek salad. The salad was fresh, with a delicious dressing that really enhanced the flavors.
The seafood platter with both cooked and raw seafood. Each bite was delectable, perfectly paired with a Chardonnay.
I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking to enjoy fresh seafood.

The seafood platter was amazing!. Very attentive to placement and selection of items in the platter which didn’t go unnoticed. Our prawns were de-shelled only along the body (thank you for minimising the mess!) and every item, very fresh. Absolutely lovely food.
