The food was very good ! Service was good as well! But I came around 9pm to eat and they didn’t have almost anything for dinner sides… And were closing it down from what I was told so.. didn’t really get what I wanted but the food was decent portion size and tasted great so that made up for it

The server was super friendly and made us feel welcomed, the food was good, the only real complaint is the fryer grease could probably use a change as you can taste it in food. I would certainly go back if I’m ever in the area again.

I did not expect much out of this experience. The Pros: plenty of seating (it was late), friendly folks, fairly quick service. The server was nice. The scrambled eggs were real (not out of a carton). The ham was good and the hashbrowns were average. The Cons: the biscuits and gravy were cold (not warm… COLD). I asked if they could microwave them to warm them up, they do not have a microwave. The server acted confused and finally offered to remake it (at this point I was nearly done with the other food, I said no thanks. never offered any discount, etc).

Great standard breakfast. They get it right, now matter the time day or night. They didn’t have honey the last two visits is why I have only 4 stars.

The food is always great. Open 24 hours. On our last visit we had a new server with little experience but we eventually got through it. We LOVE Lucy’s and encourage everyone to try it out. The menu is great. The food is great. The people are great. And, again, they are open 24 hours!! For us old timers, this is the location of the old Hi-De-Ho restaurant on W. Walnut St.

Had a good time with wife been hearing good things about the place so it wasn’t bad over all but I ended up in the ER because way to much salt on the food took two bites and that was enough this happened about 2 yrs ago. Now it tasted great and food was cooked right. so I guess that was the good thing love the atmosphere staff needs to be a little friendlier but hey who hasn’t had an off day so I don’t hold it against them I’ve had way worse.

I loved the vibe when I immediately walked in! Old-school diner vibe feeling. The staff was extra friendly and helpful. My husband picked this place out for us to try during our travels to the area and this place didn’t disappoint that home-style cooking. Very good, we both enjoyed our meals.

Chicken fried steak was 10/10
The cornbread was lacking something 7/10 kinda of dry & fried okra mmm what not to love I liked the difference in breading 10/10

Cheeseburger omelet 10/10

Good food. They do have homemade pies and cinnamon rolls we didn’t get any however they looked delicious.

Will remember this place for future visits.

Like others, it hurts to write this, because we love going to this place, but one bad apple can ruin the bunch. We came in Sunday to a half full restaurant and half of the tables were dirty. We stood finding a spot to sit and got instructed many times to find a place to sit. Even though any favorable option to sit had not been cleaned for anyone new to sit there. Whoever our server was could have just stayed at home, because I’ve seen high schoolers that would’ve done better than this woman. No manners.

We saw another server cleaning another table and asked to sit there. She had to go check with our server to which we were told we couldn’t move.

At that point, there was nothing else to do but leave. We couldn’t even ask for cream for our coffee before she would storm off to do something else. We watched an entire table sit without service while she aimlessly wandered around.

The manager just sitting there watching and not doing anything to help his employees was not any kind of encouraging either.

We will most likely not be returning, which is unfortunate, because we really liked this place. And I firmly believe if we had a different server, that I wouldn’t be even writing this review.

She didn’t introduce herself to us, so I don’t have a name, but she wore a neon pink sweater. If we ever go back, we will be sitting with one server only. And if they are not there, we will not eat.

As someone who used to work in service industry and wants to see this place be better, I hope this review helps shed light on things. Bus your tables. Manager… you did nothing to improve the situation the entire time we were there. You sat and did nothing but watch. Shame on you

We had a party of 4 on Sunday around 12pm. I figured there would be a wait but was seated within minutes. Our waitress was quick, funny and she answered every question, was older lady with glasses. Drinks never went empty. The food came out in large portions and was amazing. I had the philly omelet which was delicious.

I’ve been trying to make it in to Lucy’s since I got to Rogers…It is exactly what you think a southern breakfast diner should be. Especially if you want a break from your corporate likes of Denny’s and Village Inn. This is place is the genuine article and hits on all cylinders in the way of Hospitality…Food Qualty…and atmosphere. Support local and get in here and see Ms. Joanie and get yourself hooked up… southern homestyle.
