I have to say, Leo’s Coney Island in Grand Blanc absolutely hit the spot! I grew up in Genesee County, but I’ve spent most of my adult life in the Metro Detroit area (Royal Oak). I’ve always loved Flint-style coneys — don’t get me wrong, Detroit-style is great too, but there’s just something special about that Flint flavor. So whenever I’m back up in the area, I make it a point to grab a Flint-style coney and maybe a stop at Dan’s Donuts for old times’ sake — childhood memories from Annie Hill!

This time, I was visiting my uncle and we decided to stop by Leo’s, and it did not disappoint. I went for the hot dog, and my uncle ordered something else, but what really surprised me was that you can get mashed potatoes and gravy — how awesome is that?! The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming.

Leo’s Coney Island of Grand Blanc definitely lives up to the hometown feel and great taste I remember. Highly recommend!

Ordered fish and chips, french fries were hard , fish was good except for a piece of metal in my wife’s last piece of fish, they said it was from their basket fryer being defective. My wife could have choked she thought it was a bone. They said the meal was on them no charge, nice waitress but will not return.

A bit high on price but most plates are a large portion. Sharing is possible to minimize cost if you aren’t a big eater. Christina was our server and she was very nice. It was a little chilly as a customer but the employees seemed ok as they were hustling and very timely at each table.

Service, prices, and portions were very good. Order took 9 minutes. We went for dinner, and the food was absolutely delicious–stir fry, moussaka, and pastitsio. Only issue was one of our meals was lukewarm in the middle.

Dining room was clean and had cool murals of Greek scenes on the walls.

I would come here again if I am in Grand Blanc.

Dropped a rider at the Walmart @ 12:30. Seemed a good time to find lunch. A Coney or two sounds good almost always, so to Leo’s I came.
They are packed! Barely an open booth or table to be had. Plenty of hubbub (noise), too. The servers are all smiles though and prompt, as well.
After looking at the menu (damn, it’s big) I decided against the coneys and went with a chicken gyro instead. Interesting that the gyro is “some assembly required” in that the tzatziki isn’t already on it. I think I prefer it this way. It was tasty, regardless.
And I chased it with a treat of baklava. Only $2.59 and it is a big piece. And warm. So much better warm.

I came here today to Coney Island. I ordered a Strawberry Milkshake, Onion Rings, Patty Melt, Chicken Lemon Rice, Chicken Finger Pita, and Chill Chesse Fries. It was 54.07, it was a little loud here but the food and the service was good. I come we regularly and I will be coming back.

The food tastes great, is always delivered hot and fast and the service is wonderful. Leo’s is usually crowded so, the noise levels are very high. It seems like there are always crying children in this restaurant. Since Covid, Leo’s offers seating spaced out with placards between the tables. The staff wear masks and the tables are clean. I wish they would offer more than one big napkin as I am forever dropping something. Consistently, too, we have to ask for straws.

I am a regular customer (2-3 times per week) today my girlfriend and i stopped in and found not many people there. When the waitress came to the table we was not met in the normal friendly manner. After we completed eating I went to pay the bill and stood at the counter for a long time while 4 waitresses stood talking. I asked “could someone cash me out” I was with met ” someone will be here” and went back to the conversation. Another long wait, as more waitresses gathered. I am disgusted with the total lack of customer service and the willingness to simply ignore a paying customer. I’ve been coming here for years maybe time to consider another coney island

Absolutely delicious food and great service!! Ashley is awesome and mostly serves me but everyone is awesome that’s there and always on top everything keeping drinks filled and always enjoy talking with them. The cooks are consistent with the food and the food is delicious! Id recommend this Leo’s in Grand Blanc for breakfast, lunch and dinner!

What I recommend is if anybody is from the south or any states that they’re used to getting fish from the docks or fresh fish you ain’t going to get it here I don’t know what game they play but I’m from Clearwater Florida I know what fresh fish is and I know it fish look like when it’s been in the freezer too long that fish was in the freezer too long I had the fish and chips don’t have it The fries had a weird taste to it My dogs would not even eat the fries anyway good luck to anybody going in there have a good day
