Applebee’s Review
I recently visited Applebee’s with my family and friends. The environment was pleasant overall—staff were friendly, and the atmosphere felt welcoming. We arrived around 9:15 PM and were seated quickly, which we appreciated.
However, the service after that was slower than expected. Our order wasn’t taken until about 9:45 PM, and the food didn’t arrive until roughly an hour after we got there. The food itself was okay—just a bit over-seasoned for our taste.
Overall, it was a good environment, but the food and timing could definitely be improved. If you plan on going, I’d recommend visiting earlier in the evening for a better experience.

Noah was an awesome server. Attentive but not overbearing. Food came out hot and in a timely manner.

I ordered an appetizer sampler and not one item was hot. I was served cold chicken wings, cold riblets, cold quesadillas. Not warm cold! Also one of the riblets was not even a full one. It looked like 1/3 of one. Normally it comes with 2.
Our server was super nice about it. He offered to get me something else. We found out that they lost a cook. I’m sure they were trying really hard to keep up with the flow of people. It just seemed like mine was made 10-20 minutes before the other one for our table. It sucked and it was way too late to try and eat something different because it took nearly an hour to get the food the first time. This was a complete fail.

We came in 5 mins ago waiting to be seated, hoping for a delicious meal but seemed we were at a bad time? Servers were making eye contact and running to the kitchen, we we’re the only ones who walked in, and they just looked at us and we didnt want to sit ourselves down and be the ignorant ones, so we just left. We gave it 5 mins for anyone to come up to us but we just got the “Who are you?” Stare. Shame cause we just moved nearby. By the way it was only two adults and a child. And it wasnt very busy everyone was enjoying their meal and we just wanted to have a good dinner experience eating out. Felt uncomfortable.

Clearly a management issue here. The hostess was MIA for about 10 minutes after we walked in. She finally sat us after another 20 minutes. Our waitress was so overloaded that it took her another 15 minutes to come to our table. After a total of 90 minutes, we received our food. It was hot, but the bun on my sandwich was so rock hard that I couldn’t eat it and the lettuce was brown and limp. The rest of my families food was mediocre. Our waitress was trying her best and she said that the 2 managers were cooking. Ridiculous.

The food was just… not good. The service wasn’t any better. I guess that’s to be expected of Applebees, though. the chips were so stale and almost broke my tooth. It was like taking a bite out of the wall. My guess is people go for the drinks, I have no idea how they are in business. Lmao this was a reminder as to why we never go there.

Me and some friends went to this Applebee’s on Saturday to get some drinks and some food. All three of us had ordered a strawberry piña colada, and they had given us a piña colada with tomato juice in it instead when we brought it up to the server, he brought the manager over and the manager did not seem to care at all it made us nauseous. Not only did we get those horrible drinks that they eventually remade the food was also bad. I’m pretty sure I got food poisoning from it. It was very disappointing and we will definitely not be going back to this Applebee’s ever again.

We had mozzarella cheese sticks and artichoke spinach dip for appetizers. We ordered Chicken Strips with French Fries, and A Bourbon Swiss Cheese Burger with fries ! The food was Very Good and Jeff our server did an Excellent Job! This Definitely a Good Experience!

Good American comfort food at decent prices. If you’re looking for a quick place to grab a bite, look no further than Applebee’s Mesa – even on Friday nights & Sunday afternoons. Service could be better as we were waiting at front to be seated, Friday night for a host working in the back, and 30 open tables. If you need a restroom break, just have someone relieve you as we almost walked out. Standing in the bright entry light as the whole restaurant stares on while eating their food. Service needs work but everything else including our waitress was good enough for American comfort food!

Nice place, not as much fun as I remember. Food good but no fancy presentation or exotic options. The cook and manager might have lost their enthusiasm. Still, the ribs were good, but no dressing on the coleslaw.
