Hands down the best Indian food I’ve had in Calgary.
The buffet is excellent, a wide variety of fresh, flavorful dishes, all kept hot and well stocked. Every curry was rich and aromatic, the butter chicken and dal were outstanding, and the naan was soft and fresh.
The buffet setup is clean, well organized, and offers great options for both meat lovers and vegetarians. You can really taste the authenticity and quality in every dish. The dining area is comfortable, nicely decorated, and the staff are friendly and attentive.
Well deserved recognition as one of Avenue Magazine’s best restaurants. If you’re looking for authentic Indian buffet with amazing flavor and value, this place is a must. Highly recommended, I’ll absolutely be back.

We visited Cinnamon Indian Cuisine & Bar and ordered the Maharaja Thali, Maharani Thali, a side of roti, kadhai paneer and also some appetizers (I know it’s a lot ). We were told that one thali would be enough for one person, but honestly it was more than enough for two of us (maybe because we’re girls ).
The food was really good, full of flavor and fresh. The service was excellent, very polite and attentive. Prices were affordable, and the portion sizes were generous, so definitely good value for money.
Overall, a great experience. Would recommend if you’re looking for authentic Indian food with good portions and great service.

A hidden gem of an Indian restaurant in downtown Calgary! Delicious lunch buffet with nicely portioned servings and a clean comfy environment. The space is nicely decorated, and the prices are more than reasonable for the food and flavours on offer.
Lots of curries and sauces to choose from; I highly recommend the paneer which is delicious. Pair those with some basmati rice and you have yourself an amazing dish. Highly recommend this restaurant!

I can recommend for the lunch buffet. Excellent customer service and management. Variety of dishes, vegetarian, butter chicken and fish dishes. Food is a bit on the salty side. The cook/ chef should apply the useful motto: Less is more. Dessert options are adequate. I would also recommend playing more ethnic music instead of the random western pop songs. That was one thing that brought the atmospheric experience down for me. The dining room is clean and the server Aman was always on top of replenishing water for customers, very knowledgeable as well.

We just had our dinner at the place. Undoubtably, it was an anazing experience. We ordered a raj kachori and a thali. The food was great rich in flavors and fresh. We loved the food, especially the fruit cream super creamy. Along with it, the service was great, Aman our server was polite and respectful and super attentive. We would highly recommend this place and will visit again

They made us feel truly comfortable and taken care of from the moment we arrived. Their warm and friendly attitude created such a lovely atmosphere, and they went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect.

We went to the downtown location for the New Year’s Eve grand dinner buffet and had an amazing experience. The food was excellent with tons of flavor, the drinks were great, and the dessert selection was especially hard to resist. The atmosphere was festive and welcoming, and the service really stood out. All the staff were friendly and attentive, with a special shout-out to Helly, who was incredibly kind, helpful, and made sure everything was perfect for us throughout the evening. We’ll definitely be coming back.
