Social Profile:

While some things have changed over the last few decades, El Pollo Loco’s delivery of fresh, authentic food has not. Everything starts with whole chickens that are slowly marinated in a special recipe of herbs, spices, fruit juices and garlic. The chicken is then expertly fire-grilled to perfection the authentic way – on our signature open-flame grills – then hand cut into your favorite Mexican entrees. We put that same dedication and care into our handmade guacamole, salsas and dressings every day. At El Pollo Loco in Temecula,CA, we believe that when real food meets real fire the result is great taste that will keep you coming back again and again.

Fast-food chain outpost known for Mexican classics made with fire-grilled chicken.

They didn’t add the guacamole. They didn’t give me a receipt at the drive through, so I cant even make a correct complaint? Im really upset. Eating out is a splurge for me, not to mention the gas that it takes to get across town.

I really feel mistreated here. Paid $12 for dry chicken and old broccoli. The mashed potatoes were so good I was starting to feel like they were sabotaged for a moment because everything else was terrible. First, they rush you. I never remember to give my app to them, most locations don’t even honor it anyway. I left the drive thru only to come back for my broccoli, which they kindly gave me the last 4 pieces that have been sitting since they opened. So rubbery, I didn’t even eat it… If restaurants want to save money, COOK TO ORDER. Don’t cook a bunch of food and cry about the waste. I wish we had pre covid workers. These kids are ruining fast food businesses. HIRE ADULTS. Someone needs to babysit so your customers can get a decent meal. I’m calm. Thanks for reading.

I am an independent contracted Customer Service Trainer. You could literally hire me, I’ll run that place in a day and hire the new batch of employees by Monday. Don’t waste your money paying these people who don’t care about your business.

Ordered the 16pc. Family Meal with the salad, rice and beans as well as one of the new quesadillas. Everything was delicious across the board and there was enough left over for a second meal. Service was fast and the staff were very polite.

My only gripe was that while waiting for my order, I noticed an ad showing the Summer family deal in which it was my exact order for $6.00 less if I’d added on additional chicken to make it the 16pc. When placing the order, I feel that it would have been customary of the employee to notify me that I could do the Summer deal and save some money.

In this current disaster of a economical climate and insane inflation, any possible savings is huge. Plus, the employee making me aware of that special when I knew nothing about it would have ensured my return to this location. Now, I’m not so sure.

I wouldn’t come here you can tell they don’t manage the restaurant well. Place was empty and it was trashed ( they don’t take time to clean it. Images attached). Took a while to get my food and again it was pretty much dead. When we tried to get napkins the dispensers weren’t filled. We asked and they said to get some at the dispenser and when we told them it was empty they checked first before giving us some (this tells you they aren’t aware of the store’s conditions nor check on downtime) . I don’t usually comment but man I’ll go to the Temecula pkwy one instead cause this place sucks.

Consistently bad. The water used in drinks has a strong SULFUR smell. Disgusting!! Chicken is usually dry and overcooked. Service always very slow. I love El Pollo Loco but this one sucks.

The worst all the way around. Ordered soup. Didn’t get the cilantro and cheese and tortilla add ins. But didn’t get anything in my soup either few small pieces of chicken and very few veggies. So basically just broth that taste so old it was gross. Ordered mashed potatoes and gravy. Very tasty. But got a half full container of gravy for a very large container of potatoes.
And the young man in the drive thru window would rather be anywhere but there. Very snarky and sour.
So the only thing I ate was my salad. Which made me sick almost immediately after eating it.
Spent a lot of money for poor quality food and service!!!

Not happy with the extra small chicken leg, which was literally two bites. The quesadilla didn’t really have much chicken to speak of but had plenty of fresh avocado. I wouldn’t order the quesadilla again but it filled me up. Nathan is awesome at the counter. Fast and on top of things!!

Since seeing the Birrieria commercials its been a while for me. Commercial got me! Ordered online and picked up through the drive thru. Easy peasy in under 10 mins.

The food was good. I would recommend maybe a bigger (Quesadilla size or more/bigger tacos) serving to fill you up like their chain/local competitors.

“Every time I visit this El Pollo Loco location, Ryan working the window truly stands out. He’s consistently courteous, always gets my order right, and has a talent for suggesting great options when I’m unsure. He even goes the extra mile by occasionally bringing my food out to the parking lot and apologizing for any wait. He’s an exceptional employee and the main reason I keep coming back to this location.”

This is by far the worst El Pollo Loco. If it isn’t for it location I would not continue to come here. The quality of food is so inconsistent. The inconsistencies between good and bad is frequent. Sometimes good, sometimes just terrible. One thing that is consistent is the bad service from the staff. Today I bought a huge family meal. I specifically asked for additional salsa enough for the meal and my family. They said sure and as I drove up to the drive thru window I asked again and the window staff told me yes they’re in the bag. I asked to make sure as they never do. But this is big meal so I wanted to make sure there was enough. As I drove away I stopped to check the bag and found out they gave me 4 half filled salsa!!! So I called and asked the manager which happened to be the same person at the window recognizing her voice. She started counting the number of pieces and said 4 was enough! If I wanted more I should go back and asked for more! I had no time to come back!! I was speechless and upset! How can you say we got you and then not deliver what your customer asked for. It’s not that I bought a small meal and asked for in excess. I just wanted enough for the amount of food I ordered which wasn’t cheap either! To top it off when I got home I got small dried up pieces, half filled rice, soupy half filled beans and the tortillas were terrible! The food was so dry everything was falling apart! The tortillas were like crackers! You guys should be ashamed!! I was so upset I couldn’t eat the food! Businesses and franchises are closing down everywhere. You should be better or excellent treating your customers and providing quality service and food to survive. Especially when you keep raising prices but not raising quality.
