Food was good, I had the trio sampler and I did enjoy it. Hubby had the aji de gallina and was good.

A bit disappointed with the food. I did take out. I’ve heard this is a great Peruvian restaurant. The staff was very nice, but the restaurant needs some major upgrades. I probably wouldn’t dine in. The tallarines were lovely and the lomo saltado was acceptable, but the Chaufa with chicken had zero flavor. Cost was about $70 for 3 people. If it had been great, it would be worth it, but it was not. There are so many Peruvian options in Miami that I will not return to El Chalan.

We had eaten Peruvian food at a friend’s house in Miami, so today, we found a famous Peruvian restaurant for dinner. Because it was around 8:30 and there were few customers, we ordered three dishes, which were served about 15 minutes later. The fried rice was the best, and the fried seafood was also good, but the corn and fish were a bit sour.

This place was heavily recommended by a taxi driver in town. I was craving seafood and this place hit the spot! The service was on spot and they were friendly. They explain the menu to us. The food was delicious and we ate as much as we could! Left the restaurant in a food coma. Almost forgot, the dishes were on the pricy side.

I can’t speak for all of the food but dim sum is horrible. It’s hard to select Chinese dishes but definitely avoid the dim sum. Service is amazing and the most friendly staff you’ll find in a restaurant. They look genuinely happy.

While eating at this restaurant I felt as if I were in Lima Downtown in the 90s. This traditional restaurant im the middle of Bird Road offered good classic criolla food with good portions on the main dishes, in particular the piqueo criollo. The service was fast and friendly. We could come back

Visiting Miami and we found this place my chance. The food was overall pretty good. We LOVE Peruvian food. Ordered ceviche with only fish, causa with octopus, and seco ( beef in a cilantro sauce). Our favorite plate ordered was the seco. It’s definitely a place to come back too.

Good food. The only reason for the lower than 5 stars is that the fried food is really greasy.
The restaurant was super full even though it was a Thursday at 3pm.
I’ll be back when I want a homie Peruvian place.

Very family-oriented place to eat Peruvian food. Unfortunately I was so sad to know they did not offer one of the absolute most amazing dishes which is called anticucho…NOR did they have Alfajores. My husband did get the Lomo saltado and it was VERY sad… tough cuts of meat and lacking flavor.
We did however enjoy the papa a part huancaina, homemade spicy green pepper sauce and the Cau Cau.
Will not be back because there are plenty of other options in the area to explore.
Thank you for the kind service!
