I have NO idea how this place actually has 4 stars. Do you people not know what good breakfast is!? I ordered the eggs Benedict, corned beef hash, biscuits and gravy, hash browns and toast. I spent about $100 and my boys and I were very excited to try this place because we love our breakfast. Where do I even start….. all 3 of us agree that the corned beef hash was the best thing we ordered and even that was a 3/10…. I ordered over medium eggs and all of them were over easy. The biscuits and gravy and eggs Benedict were absolutely disgusting. Both myself and my 7 year old had to spit it out. Their home fries are mushy, soggy and gross. Ever their toast was gross…. And not toasted or buttered. I wouldn’t let my worst enemy eat here

We have visited The Cracked Egg several times and we really enjoy the food and experience here. Everything is well cooked and I love the fact that all of the food is organic and locally sourced as much as possible. The menu is breakfast heavy but does have lunch offerings as well. So far everything we’ve tried has been delicious. we have tried griddles, pancakes, French toast, and their chicken fried steak. The eggs are always cooked perfectly and they do have very good home fries. The home fries are not heavily seasoned, but the other ingredients in the griddles and add flavor without the potatoes needing to be overly seasoned. The pancakes are huge and fluffy and taste so good! The French toast is thick and crispy in the outside fluffy in the middle with fresh, tasty toppings.
The service is very good, even when it’s busy. Our servers are very attentive and always keep the drinks full. They are very busy for lunch so you may have to park at one of the businesses next-door if you can’t find parking in their parking lot. We have visited for breakfast time and late lunch and both of those times of the day in the restaurant were not incredibly busy, but the lunch hour was hopping!

We were very disappointed in our breakfast yesterday. Our first visit and definitely our last. Much better and cheaper food at iHop or even Dennys. My 2 eggs must have come from small ones – the portion did not look like 2 regular or large eggs. The bacon was unbelievable. I’m amazed a server would put it on the table. Not only was it burned to a crisp it looked as if it had been reheated and sat around for hours. Cardboard. My husband’s cheese on his scramble was ice cold. Overpriced and underwhelming.

Visiting this restaurant for the first time turned out to be a wonderful experience. The staff greeted us warmly and made us feel comfortable right away. The food servings were generous and satisfying, while the calm and relaxing atmosphere made the visit even more enjoyable. We truly appreciated every moment here and would love to return again.

This place knows how to make breakfast. Let’s start with the menus. They are enormous — possibly the largest in the Western Hemisphere. Four people could not open them at the same table without violating several fire codes. You can either open the menu or talk to the person across from you, but not both. That’s just physics.

The coffee was excellent, and the service was genuinely friendly — the kind that feels like someone is actually happy you showed up before noon.

GCU students get ten percent off, and even prospective students qualify. With prices these days, this is a huge win.

The food was fantastic, and the portions generous enough to share or at least pretend you will.

The Cracked Egg cracks it. Moses recommends.

Good spot for some brunch. Food wasn’t amazing but still good nonetheless. Was definitely taken back by how large the biscuit was. Service was great too.

It’s ok, nothing really stood out. The menu is huge for no reason kinda of hard to view if you have multiple people at the table. The food was basic and bland. SANTA did make the time thereafter and the mimosas helped.

Good comfort food. We came for breaky. I enjoyed 3 huge pieces of French toast with a couple eggs, my dtr was stuffed with her chocolate chip pancakes , and my wife got chicken fajitas. All was yummy

The cinnamon pancake changed my life. After gleefully laughing in my chair two bites in, I verbally asked my group if: “I could kiss the chef?!” My husband said “no”. & I was like: “no, not in a weird way, just like on the forehead.” (Then he relaxed ) It was soo good that the Cracked Egg is now a MUST stop for me anytime I travel to PHX. (If I’m keeping it real after I saw an AMF bowling alley later in the day, I momentarily thought about moving to Phoenix.)
