If you value your time do NOT go here. This is the most poorly run business I have ever seen. Maria does NOT have any management skills …it’s a joke. I waited half an hour in the drive thru only to get to the window and the register isn’t working. When I looked inside the window it was chaos. I’ve never seen anything like it ….the workers looked like they didn’t know what to do… it was hard to watch and confusing cuz I’ve not seen anything like it before. I still can’t believe it but I do believe I will never go there again … first and last. Did I mention I didn’t even get my food after all that wait cuz they didn’t know how to work the register. Do Not go here.

GROSS . Haven’t been in a while because El Pollo Loco, especially this location, really skimps on the chicken. I knew better, but I really wanted a tostada salad, so I took a chance. Last time I went, I ordered it with no beans, and it was full of beans . I knew to order it this time and repeat no beans 3 times to the irritation of my server (sorry). I always order the DOUBLE chicken tostada. Why is it that there is NEVER any chicken?! I had maybe 5 small pieces. If it’s a double, shouldn’t have I received a double scoop of chicken? The tostada shells are getting smaller and the price is getting bigger (why?!). I love the new containers that the salad comes in but with the salad being so small, the container was too big and my food was a slipping and sliding mess. It looked so unappealing. Added pics so you can play “Where’s Waldo” with my chicken. LoL. Just ugh…

So disappointed! I had to write a review. Months ago it happened that chicken is still raw but this yesterday was outrageous. I brought food for my kids to enjoy while I did work and when I come back to see the leftovers I find this. They had eaten most of it. ITS RAW!!! They ate it RAW.

Nicole has the best customer service I’ve seen in the fast food industry. She was very polite and very well organized my order was warm, fast and separated in different bags to keep the non dairy items away from the dairy items. My daughter has an allergy to dairy so I really appreciate her efforts and attention.

I normally don’t post reviews on fast food places. After all, let’s be honest… if you’ve been to one place you’ve been to them all.
This place, however, proved to be an exception. Being literally right next to my neighborhood I am here almost every day and I’ve gotten to appreciate not only the food but also the people and how well this restaurant is maintained.
For starters, the restaurant is ALWAYS clean. I don’t think I’ve ever came in and the store was a mess. As soon as a customer leaves, an employee comes by and wipes the tables and seats, as well as doing general sweeping of the floor.
When it comes to the food, you can tell it’s as freshly prepared as often as possible. Is everything perfect? No, but what matters most is what’s always taken cared of. I can tell the managers and employees all get along, which is important in the fast food industry. I think this is why I come here every day. It’s just so welcoming.

I truly don’t know what the issue is with including the dressing for the salad. I have ordered several times and I have this issue constantly and I have to call to ask to get it included and even then they don’t do it. They’re nice but seriously, include the dressing.

Food is amazing, super duper friendly staff and will get your food out asap. Place is always clean and inside they always keep it nice and cool just incase those summer days really burn you out. Chicken is as juicy as chicken could get and the sides are just wow.. Mac and cheese 10/10!! Is definitely a must try and is not expensive unlike other chicken places.

The El Pollo Loco off West Rancho Vista is terrible.
I ordered a meal ( the Avocado Chicken salad) it’s supposed to come with cheese.
It came with no cheese, when I went back up the lady working in the back literally got mad and threw a few specks of cheese on it.
Never eating there again.
