During the summer of 2005, we opened D.H. Lescombes Winery & Bistro in Albuquerque, near historic Old Town. Our Winemaker and Master Chef collaborated to create a menu that features epicurean-style dishes paired with our award-winning New Mexico wines. Our comfortable dining room, refreshing outdoor patios, and unique menu offerings are what we believe make D.H. Lescombes Winery & Bistro the best restaurant in Albuquerque. Please Note: Due to pandemic restrictions, PETS are NOT allowed at this time.

I used to go to the Las Cruces location all the time in college, glad there’s one here. The food is great!
Went in for the prix fixe menu on Valentine’s Day, portions were perfect, not too big, and everything we tried was delicious. We were able to make a reservation the week before.
Busy, as was to be expected, but our server was great and apologized for the wait which we didn’t even notice. Will definitely go again for a normal meal.

We celebrated a milestone wedding anniversary here and very happy we did. The pork chop and trout entrees were delicious and cooked perfectly. Both proteins are often overcooked and dry but these were expertly prepared. The sides were equally delicious –
Creamy mash potatoes and crisp yet tender broccolini. Everything was seasoned properly. We had two flights and enjoyed all 7 wines. The team gifted us a chocolate torte with ice cream dessert to help us celebrate. It was a perfect sweet ending to a lovey meal. Shout out to our fabulous server, Torrey. Thank you for a memorable meal!

I save my 5-star ratings for only the best! The chef greeted us in the front bar area and continued to circulate throughout the entire evening making sure everything was perfect. I had been looking at the menu while we waited for our table, and when he described how they prepared their pot roast, I decided on that, and so glad I did! I’ve never had anything like it!
The wine, the food, the wine, the service…did I mention the wine? This will definitely be our go to place next time we are in Albuquerque.

I’ve been coming here infrequently for years. Service is great, it’s a cool building, and the servers are wonderful. I ordered the NM Cheese steak sandwich, which was awesome the first I had it about a year ago; however, it came out with a burned roll first time around. I sent it back, and it came back with the steak overcooked. My friend got the lasagne, which had Alfredo sauce on top versus the traditional mozzarella. Very disappointed.

Had a Great experience at DH Lescombes. Passing thru from California and was expecting California wines and was pleasantly surprised to see how good the wine was made from New Mexico for half the price or a third of what I’m used to paying for a bottle from Paso Robles CA.

The wait is minimal. Welcomed to sit at bar area. Servers are very attentive. Carisma has a lot of knowledge about the wines and what to pair them with. Friendly atmosphere. It is apparent that several customers come in not only for the wine and food, but also for the service. I recommend next time you are in Albuquerque, NM, that you stop by.

Visiting from AZ and came across this gem on OpenTable. Absolutely fantastic food and service. We don’t drink wine so a bit skeptical if it would be a good fit for our party of 5 but the place did not disappoint. The bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer was amazing. The red chili pork chop were moist with delicious flavors, bread and butter are clearly homemade and top notch. Our server was equally fantastic with refills, check-ins and recommendations. We would absolutely return and recommend to others. Well done ✔️ to owners and staff.

1st time as Guests to this “Old Town District” location of D.H. Lescombes restaurant in Albuquerque (NM).
NOT difficult to locate this eatery while driving in traffic. Parking, this evening, was available and well maintained.
Reception Staff was Professional and Courteous. Seated us right at the Reservation time, too! Not much space in the Waiting Area, tho’.
Our Super Server, “Stephanie”, was menu-knowledgeable, attentive and even friendly! We both enjoyed her personality and her customer service skillset! We, also, got visited by two different Managers during our meal, asking if we were enjoying our visit to DHL. Impressive!
We ordered the much talked about Bistro Burger and the (*NEW*) Homemade Lasagna! BOTH menu items were as delicious as they looked! We, also, tried a sampling of their Wine of the Day, “6•3•1• Signature Cab-Sangio”. Niiice!
Very enjoyable outing at this D. H. Lescombes Winery & Bistro!

Very nice experience and excellent food. I recommend the meatloaf… comes with mash potatoes and broccolini. Try the different wines (we like the Kiva). They allow you to try multiple ones. … excellent service with Kat M. Ask for her when you come in. And did I mention how great tasting the meatloaf was.

With reservations for a large group of 14 we were promptly seated during peak supper time. Our server Troy ? was great, very personable and attentive. Everyone got there food as ordered and was delicious. Very nice atmosphere without being upscale stuffy. Highly recommend
