Jack’s Family Restaurant – Opening Day Review
Stopped by Jack’s Family Restaurant today for their opening, and overall it was a solid first showing with some very understandable hiccups.
They had a lot of staff on hand, which makes sense for day one. My cashier was clearly nervous—very professional, but more mechanical than personable. That said, the line moved efficiently and the wait for food was not long at all.
A big shout-out to the sweet lady who brought our food to the table. She was genuinely friendly, eager to help, and checked on us throughout the meal, which honestly stood out and made the experience much better.
Prices were very reasonable, which is a big win. They did forget my pie initially, but when I went back to the counter it was handled immediately—no attitude, no excuses. I also noticed several people returning to the counter with issues, but to their credit, every problem I saw was fixed quickly and without question. That says a lot about management and training.
As for the food: it was okay. The fries were soft and missing salt, the tenders were good but lightly seasoned, and the tea was actually very good.
Bottom line: everyone seemed a bit overwhelmed, which is expected on opening day. Once they work the kinks out and settle into a rhythm, I think Jack’s will be a great place to grab a meal. I’ll definitely give them another shot.

Just meh. They were out of the catfish. The poor girl that was at the register was not being properly trained/shadowed. It’s her 1st or 2nd day.
When I went to sit down, every single table was dirty.
The food that I ordered was just ok. The Big Jack burger was luke warm & the side of ranch was literally 1/4 full(at best).
1 positive thing Jaiden(just came off break as I was eating) was super attentive and so nice.
I can’t say that my experience was good, honestly I don’t think I will be returning.

Shout out to the girl working the window the last two days I know of around 7:50-8am she asked me how my morning was, made small talk, was very welcoming, I wish I got her name, she also checked my order before giving it out and my drinks, great attitude for having to be at work before 5am

Had be looking forward to visit after the grand opening at Jack’s in Thomasville GA. From what l could tell from my Drive through experience the store service and parking area was satisfactory. However
The food was disappointing, seemed to be on the dry side, wasn’t moist and juicy but dry and hard. however the portion size was satisfactory, Prices was reasonable. But Dont think l would go back for chicken, perhaps l would consider a Rib sandwich later.

I love Jack’s! Even when they have 10-15+ people in line inside and the same amount of cars in the drive through the wait was very short. Great chicken sandwich and mashed potatoes. Highly recommended!!!

Came through the drive thru this morning and ordered a smoked bologna, egg and cheese sandwich combo. I got to the window and told me I ordered a bologna biscuit. Cashier proceeded to ask if I wanted egg and cheese on the sandwich, I said yes and told me she corrected the order on the receipt. She ended up ignoring the egg and cheese and just gave me a bologna sandwich.. also has messed up my previous order a week ago.. it’s really unfortunate because I was excited for this new establishment.

Breakfast was delicious! Fresh Hot Pancakes with Smoked Link Sausage. The staff is amazing!! They are very attentive and helpful. The staff also attends to the dining area and asks if everything is ok or if they can get me anything.The Dining area is welcoming with a stone fireplace, table seating with chairs, booth seating and very clean.
