They don’t rush you to eat quickly and get out. They let you Socialize and enjoy your food at your own leisure. They were not that full when I visited them. I don’t know if that is normal for them or not.
There are several different areas to sit down and eat there is a yellow area that has a lot of natural sun light that comes through.the bar and the red area are both dimly light. The bar is the darkest place to set and eat. There is a nice place that you can eat out side too. I imagine it would be lovely to eat out side at night here with the little lights on that are on the fence.
Plenty of board games, coloring sheets for kiddos.
And, be ready to eat your pizza with a fork and knife. The pizzas are LOADED with excellent toppings.
Prices are average to a bit on the higher side, but it’s totally worth the cost. From their starters to their entrees to their insane (but amazingly delicious) pizza creations, this restaurant is the coolest place to have the best food.
Try their Bill Murray pizza, their spinach salmon salad, their steak bites, and of course their delicious sundae for dessert!
Also, pick up the warmest sweatshirt in the world in their merch department, like I did. I wear it all the time and love it!
Their staff is the friendliest in the world, and that includes the owners who I just love to death. Seriously. Do yourself a favor, and come here.
They changed the TV channel so I could watch my Dodgers versus the Diamondbacks (NLDS Championship Series) and our server was extremely friendly, helpful and efficient. She even told me about their 20% Military Discount, a generous savings and 10% more than most places offer … HOOAH!
The place is comforting to the eye and the food good. What more could you ask for? My wife had the Baked Mac and Cheese ($11.50) with penne pasta in a rich, creamy Tillamook cheddar sauce, topped with breadcrumbs, then baked … savory and tasty … YUM!
I built my own pizza … I’m so proud … a 12 inch “The Cheese Stands Alone” with a tomato sauce and mozzarella base on hand tossed crust ($11.75), adding Italian sausage for $1.60 ($13.35 total). Excuse my French, but there was a shitload of sausage on the pizza. Big slices of whole sausage covered the pie, probably 1 1/2 – 2 sausages in total. Can you say sausage fest? This pie was pretty damn good!
Draft beers are $4.75 to $5.50 for a pint and my IPA was cold and frosty, making me extra hoppy (get it?). For two meals and two draughts, the total came to around $35 with tax, but with the 20% discount we paid just $28 plus tip … whatta bahgain!
They even have Happy Hour Sunday through Thursday from 2 to 6PM and Friday and Saturday from 2 to 6PM and 9PM to close (dine-in only-available throughout the restaurant). You can save $2 on an appetizer or glass of wine and all draught pints are $1 off.
The only reason I deducted a Bomb was for the lack of salami. No salami in an Italian joint? Salami pizza is my favorite, so add some damn salami to the topping menu and maybe I will upgrade my rating … CAPISCHE?
