Excellent service! Karla was our server, and she was so kind and helpful—she helped me make up my mind about the chuleta, and it was incredible. She immediately noticed I was cold and helped us get cozy. We were shocked by how much food we got for only $19 a plate. My husband ordered the grilled chicken and loved it as well. Definitely worth it! It’s Dominican food with a twist—absolutely delicious. The ambiance is nice and clean, with music playing; small but cozy.

Delicious Food in a Bright and Clean Atmosphere.
Mi Tierra is a fantastic spot to enjoy Dominican cuisine! The mofongo with chicharrón and the one with churrasco were absolutely spectacular, full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The chicken and beef tacos were also incredibly tasty and a real treat.
The atmosphere of the restaurant is great: bright, clean, and welcoming. The service was fine, our server was attentive, and the food arrived quickly. Nothing to complain about, though nothing particularly stood out either.
Overall, it’s a wonderful place to enjoy hearty Dominican dishes in a pleasant environment. Highly recommend trying the mofongo, tacos and the”Mi Tierra” drink is a must have.

This is one of the best Dominican restaurant in Miami. To start with, the place looks amazing, I love the decoration and the natural lighting. The food is incredible. It is Dominican food taken to higher level. Most importantly, the service was great, Jose was our waiter and he was so kind and attentive. He made sure my mom and sister had a great time. I would loyally recommend this place for a nice romantic dinner, girls night out or any other gathering with adults. I would not recommend to go with children that are less than 5 years old because you don’t want to spend the time trying to keep them on their seats.

Amazing experience. Very enjoyable with my wife. She is pregnant and she had the opportunity to get a virgin piña colada. We got a couple appetizers. Fried cheese and th smoked burrata that the Chef personally brought to the table. It was a really tasteful and great combination of flavors. Good service from Carla and very attentive. Our main dishes were outstanding as well. I highly recommend it.

Date night. Nice atmosphere. Great drinks. The mi Tierra drink was amazing, the guava smash was good but strong ginger taste, very unique n tasty. The best thing we ate were the empanada tacos. Just wow. Burst of flavors. The fried cheese was great. The mofongo with fried chicken chunks (chicharron de pollo) was good. Mofongo was ok, nothing great. but the chicken was crispy and nicely seasoned. Also had the Oxtail with rice and beans which they only have on saturdays. It was ok too. Lacked depth. Richness. N lastly we also had the churrasco mofongo which we did not know came in strips not as a whole steak. Which was also ok. Not bad at all. Great drinks and apps. Lovely service

I had a fantastic experience at the restaurant, largely thanks to our server, Karla. She was incredibly fast and efficient, ensuring that our needs were met promptly without compromising on friendliness. The food was absolutely outstanding, easily deserving a perfect 10/10! Each dish was expertly prepared, showcasing the right combination of flavors and presentation. It was a nice touch that the chef even came out to check how the food was, which added a personal element to the meal. The atmosphere of the place complemented the dining experience perfectly, making it an all-around winning choice. I can’t recommend it highly enough—definitely a must-visit!

Mi Tierra Kitchen & Bar was the perfect place to celebrate a birthday brunch with my BFF of 42 years. From the moment we sat down, the experience felt festive and special—and our fabulous waitress Karla truly made it all happen. She was warm, attentive, and kept the celebration flowing perfectly from start to finish.

We opted for the set menu and started by sharing the Duo de Empanadas and the Ensalada Caprese—both fresh, flavorful, and perfect for sharing.

For our mains, Betsy ordered the mofongo with churrasco and egg whites (gracias al chef ), and I had the mofongo con camarones, which was hearty, well-seasoned, and absolutely delicious.

Drinks started innocently with naranja mimosas and, as all good birthday brunches should, evolved into champagne.

We wrapped up the celebration by blowing out candles for our 53rd birthday with a caramel-covered bread pudding topped with vanilla ice cream—the perfect sweet ending to a memorable meal.

Great food, great energy, and truly wonderful service—especially Karla—made this brunch one we’ll be talking about for a long time. Highly recommend for special occasions (or any excuse to celebrate life and friendship). ✨

Friday night and looking for something new to try we arrived at one of my favorite list in miami restaurants to visit for my next food adventure.
Mi Tierra Bar & Kitchen located in Kendall inside of Miller Square Shopping Center with a category of 4.7 and more than 2,213 reviews, this place offer the traditional Dominican cuisine with a creative touch and adapted from other international culinary cultures.
Our waiter Carlos despite being his last customers of the day, he maintained his professionalism by recommending the best options on the menu, our was trío empanadas and picadera this dish is the perfect combination and offers you the opportunity to try different flavors such as salami with an exquisite sauce with a touch of spice, delicious fried cheese, crispy fried boneless chicken along with a portion of fried yuca that you can also combine with the sauce, as well as mini blood sausages.
There were three of us and that was enough. And the trio of empanadas was also delicious with a thin, crispy coating that when you bit into it, you could feel it was at the perfect temperature to eat.
Well, a big thank you to Chef Sergio and his team for an unforgettable experience that I’d love to repeat. Well, one more thing to add: the decor and music are a bit loud, but I focused more on what I ate and the videos of the Dominican Republic than the sound around me.
