This is my second time in Beaumont and I was close to this location and decided to partake in lunch. I promise you for the price it’s gonna be a lot of food and also be ready to take it home with you. I end up getting the seafood enchiladas if the picture doesn’t give it justice it’s bigger than you think. The cheese is not that bad and parking is pretty easy to get around. There was an Italian place next to it, but it was not open. Good job staff crew.

First time here and definitely won’t be my last!!
The server was great he had great suggestions and very knowledgeable. The restaurant was amazingly decorated it had a very fisherman cabin type feel that went with the menu selection.
The food was amazing the fried ribs are a must get the nachos were delicious and I love that it was different on mini tostadas, the quesadilla with boudin was delicious.
If your out in the area I suggest you stop and get something to eat you wont be disappointed

Sweet spot. For vegans, they made me corn tortilla fajita veggies custom without butter. If you eat oysters the oysters were fresh and the salsa was very good too!

This is our new favorite restaurant. It is a cajun restaurant with a flare of Mexican or vice versa. They had the best food that we have had in a while. Everything we had was great. My wife and her friend had the seafood platter. This is the first time I have seen a real seafood platter like this in a long time. My buddy had the Blacjened Redfish Pontchartrain, I had the shrimp poboy. For appetizers we had gatir bites and Mexican cocktail. When I say this place was a 10 I am not exaggerating We absolutely can’t wait to go back.

TEX MEX + CAJUN FUSION!? I heard stories of a place based in Beaumont called “Tia Juanita’s Fish Camp” that is doing a fusion I have never come across before: Mexican + Cajun. Story goes that a man named Ricky Martinez opened the first one in 2014 in Beaumont and since then they have expanded with locations all over Southeast Texas. I went to the original location to check it out!

The place has “come as you are” vibes with a ton of bright colors and several frozen beverage machines behind a bar. The menu was better than I had imagined with items like Fried Cajun rolls stuffed with shrimp étouffée, smoked boudin balls, fried alligator, Boudin Quesadillas, Blackened Redfish Pontchartrain and some wild looking Cajun seafood enchiladas.

You may not visit this place if you are trying to make amazing dietary decisions, lol. Jessica actually found some healthy items on the menu with some searching!

The whole concept was just FUN and I found myself wishing we had one here in DFW, somewhere in the area. Maybe that will happen one day!

If you haven’t checked then out already Tia Juanita’s is a refreshing twist on Tex-Mex that feels authentic to the blended cultures and cuisines of southeast Texas. Highly recommended!!!

The food was amazing—you could really taste the local culture in every bite. The mix of Cajun flavors with traditional Mexican cuisine was unique and delicious. Our server, Angel, was super friendly and helpful. We loved his food recommendations! Definitely a great spot to stop and eat if you’re passing through and want a real taste of the area.

It’s ok….but the location down ok Bolivar is way better. As far as the food we order Derek Chips and salsa and Boudin balls. The Chils and Salsa were good but the waiter forgot the Boudin balls which came after our meal and they just mush and didn’t taste fresh. As far as main course I had their chicken and sausage gumbo which is definitely not cook the same as other location it was ok but the others were much better. I probably wouldn’t go back to this location but maybe everyone has a difference of opinions.

This use to be my go to spot for oysters. A few months back I took my disabled mom there to have a nice meal. The hostess wasn’t at the stand and we sat ourselves after waiting for some time. The food was great and service was fine. Left the restaurant just to get a fraud alert from my bank saying my card was being used. I left my card on the table after paying. My mom was in a wheelchair so it’s fair to say I had alot on my hands. I called and spoke with the manager Andrea and told her what happened and basically I was told that I was lying AFTER she informed me that my card was placed in the safe. I asked for cameras to be rolled back and conveniently there were none. So you’re telling me that my card couldn’t have been used from being picked up on the table and placed in her hands? I actually used to work with her at Ralph and kakoos but in that moment she acted like she didn’t know who I was. Kinda made me suspicious of her, I will never go back and that’s makes me sad because that was my go to for oysters. I guess I’ll have to drive to the Port Aurthur location. You all have lost a loyal customer.
