Waited for nearly 20 minutes for food. When it came out, it was the wrong order. Waited an additional 10 minutes and got a half done hot dog with a splash of chilli, a busted hot dog bun, and tater tots with very little cheese. The oreo blast had oreos on top and that’s it. I threw most of it away because it was obvious the food had been under cooked. I won’t go back to this Sonic.

Definitely charged more almost 3X the price for the special that was $6.99, I asked specifically to the girl who came up to me if I could swap out the fries for onion rings how much more would it be? I said if it’s more than $.50 or above that, I stated with emphasis don’t do it; & lmk.. as well as I asked her to describe what a similar drink to not to talk about Culver’s, but they’re concrete mixer and she pointed those other drink thing that it would be like that head. I said OK well do you guys have the chocolate ice cream ; and I said hold up wait a second it’s not like the soft serve ice cream is it?? and she said “no no .. we don’t serve that!” .. & “I said are you sure”
Basically she went on stating no definitely not, they have custard ice cream they get in very similar to Culver’s or Freddy’s or etc.. where they hand scoop it out..?
ANYWAYS, I ASKED HER WHAT THE UP CHARGE WOULD BE THOUGH PRIOR TO NOT DOING THIS FOR INSTEAD OF A soft drink? FOR THE THING TO BE WHAT SHE CLAIMED TO BE the exact same thing she would make in the end would be as a “CONCRETE MIXER”- as Culver’s version .. SHE SAID up-charge will be $0.75.. for that.
& I Stated WELL THAT’S GREAT! I had thought about it for a moment like well that’s too good to be true and I said wait so a total of $.50 and $.75 = $1.25 extra only w/ $6.99. $6.99 + $1.25 = $8.24 total + tax $0.58 total= $8.82 <~ complete total w/ tax!!

Than I explained to her how I wanted to have chocolate ice cream with peanut butter sauce, and brownie pieces in it that was all..
and asked “do you actually have peanut butter sauce?” Or peanut butter?”.. and she goes yeah it’s peanut butter. I said no sauce like Reese’s peanut butter sauce, sauce? she goes yeah we have it and I said OK that and then I just want chunks of brownie brownies actually she goes. Yeah, we have those as well..

**FYI BO THEY DO NOT OR; whomever made this or between the girl and them they definitely did not make this drink right like my ice cream.
What this turned out to be was a complete hot mess- my receipt total after she rang up my debit card I looked at receipt finally when I got home; I was in rage. It stated I spent literally not any eight dollars I spent $18.98 definitely my card number like the lastfour digits on the end; I kept trying to call the store, etc. nobody would answer because I don’t know what I paid for but four meals basically or three of the $6.99 meals that came with a burger fries and a soft drink drink where is the $0.50 upgrade & the $1.00 upgrade?

The supposed to be concrete mixer drink was a mess.. it felt like it was a shake that someone that oh if I blend up with lots of ice, it’ll make it extra thick I mean in reality yeah OK, but it was so disgusting like I have no idea what they did. It feels like yes they use soft. Serve for one and they mixed it in the Hershey’s syrup and a vanilla soft syrup for two and then they put Reesie’s peanut butter cups in it chopped them all up and then that was pretty much a wrap ..
I don’t know where this hot mess turned out to be that I asked for the cheeseburger to have either cheddar cheese any type of cheese other than the American otherwise have no cheese on it& I have no toppings on it. adult like none of that it just completely none of it no mustard none of those sauces and I have none of the other stuff. It definitely had everything on it when it came to my car. As well as the girl charged me for ranch, even though that I need a ring should’ve came w/ the ranch so I mean this was a epic fail this whole restaurant I mean, I couldn’t eat the hamburger. I definitely didn’t want the onion rings. they were cold I mean if I ask for a peanut butter sauce I definitely saw that on the menu peanut butter, but I’m like a brownies but it’s like where this go wrong. I don’t know but I’m just telling everybody I used to have sonic and Iowa back when I lived there, but this is definitely not the sonic I remember so yeah I don’t go there if you wanna have a huge fail to charge you three times as much as as well as lied to you.

They need to hire some people. They’ve got one dude working during peak night rush. I waited nearly half an hour to even have my order taken, while all the stalls around me continued to fill up, before finally leaving without buying anything. This is not how you run a business. I’m shocked the poor lone employee hasn’t walked off in the middle of his shift and told the owner to get down here and do the work himself. There is no amount of money that would be fair compensation for these working conditions. While I was waiting, out of curiosity, I checked the recent reviews on this location….. and that was the final straw in my decision to leave and probably not come back. Good luck to this location. To the employee being severly taken advantage of, there’s far better jobs out there. There’s no reason you need to put up with this treatment.

Of course this place is great to enjoy some great fast food whether staying in your car or sitting outside for a nice bite & a great array of drinks and shakes! It’s no fine dining but I think we all should be aware of that but still a great place to go to every one in awhile for sure!

So I just went here for lunch and I get it’s not a fun job, I worked in fast food but come on. Rude customer service when delivering food. Also, I asked for no pickle and no tomato on my burger. I go to eat it and and there’s pickles on it. Not only was there pickles when I asked for no pickles but, I was up charged to add pickles. Not that I am but if I were allergic to pickles. Obviously i’m a little pissed off about this. Specifically asking for something to not be on a burger and then being charged for them adding it is ridiculous. It’s not that difficult to follow instructions.

Terrible. My mom’s hot dog looks like it was a day too late for the train to heaven. It looks like its soul got sucked out of its body. It looks like a very old man got cursed to become a sonic hotdog. It was so burnt and tough, they should expand their market into beef jerky.
Also, the cream slush was a special offering, it was a DIY cream slush because they didn’t bother to mix it- cream on top and slush on the bottom. Idk where the managers are finding their employees but it might be prudent to start looking elsewhere.
Also for the record- we go to Sonics all the time where we live, and it’s great. Never like this.

I ordered on the app and when we went to pick it up the employee said “the hot dog machine is broken” (whatever that means) and gave us the bag with no hot dog. No offer of a substitute or refund. I told my boyfriend to go ask the other employee to give me a substitute which she did for a lesser valued item. But I find it strange they were perfectly fine with handing me a bag without paid items and not offering a refund nor a substitute.. just going to keep my money. ?

These employees deserved zero stars tonight (2/23/26).They were turning away paying customers because they didn’t want to go out in the “cold”(50°), which we heard them talking about through the cracked door. They weren’t even doing it politely they would just ignore you until you left. We saw multiple employees in there as we pulled away and no other customers was there so they were not short-staffed. One of the employees was a black man with a light blue Bluey cartoon hoodie on who kept coming near the door and peeking to see if we had left yet. He had a headset on too so I’m sure he could hear us. I even motioned for him to come over and was ignored. We watched four other cars go through the same thing as us. This wasn’t even near closing they were supposed to be open for another 3 hours. This was extremely unprofessional and is causing this location to lose business.

The only reason this business gets any stars is because of the night-shift employee who was left to run a busy store completely alone. With a full line of customers waiting, he stayed professional, respectful, and worked nonstop under pressure. He deserves recognition and support—not abandonment.
What is unacceptable is that management and ownership allowed this to happen at all. Leaving one employee to handle a high-volume shift is reckless, unsafe, and unfair. This is not a staffing “mistake”—it’s a management failure.

If I could pick zero Stars I would. I don’t know what has happened to this Sonic but the food is smaller and quantity and it’s a half a piece of cheese rather than a full piece of cheese. Customer service is horrible today which is February 24th we were there for 10 minutes and never got waited on and then got yelled at by the CarHop for pushing a button the reson we did was because of this. As we were waiting the CarHop whispered to my son push the button and he told me to press the button so I did and as the car hop was walking in she yelled at us
