Awesome Mexican restaurant in East Lansing. Fun, bright atmosphere with TVs randomly throughout (including at the bar). Service was exceptional (Freddy was great). Party started with the cheese dip along with the chips and salsa which were delicious (crisp/fresh chips, smoky salsa, and a white queso that was good but better when adding some of the salsa for an extra kick). Party tried the Acapulco taco salad and the al pastor tacos. Everything was fresh and well seasoned. Coke products served are always a plus for us. We will be going back for more. If you’re in the Lansing area and looking for a great experience with Mexican food- this is your spot!

I haven’t ate here in over two years. This place is pretty good. Overall I decided to go on a family date night today and ordered some ground beef flautas for the very first time. Wanted to try something new. The flautas was definitely under seasoned and very dry. The picture makes them look very edible and delicious but the flavor is definitely a zero out of 10 the sauce was not good at all either The atmosphere is pretty nice and our waiter was friendly. My boyfriend ordered a burrito. Not sure the name of it he rated it a 10

I’ve been to both… the one on Saginaw it was good but I was upset I asked for chicken and ground beef taquitos and was given some with pork, I was so upset. Then I ordered a tostada no beans and ground beef I got a tostada no beef and beans… I’ll just say it could of been a language barrier, however he wasn’t kind about correcting it.
( now Sept 9, 2025 ) I went to the one in Frandoor and food was slapping and I ain’t gonna lie the pitcher of Mango Margaritas had me lit like a Xmas tree. It was very cold inside so make sure to carry a sweater.

It was my first time here and I really enjoyed the experience, service was friendly and prompt. The food was fresh and favorable the only complaint was that the street corn was watery and it didn’t have as much flavor as it should. Despite that its a place worth checking out.

Acapulco Mexican Restaurant offers a great atmosphere with a fun, vibrant vibe.** It’s a step above your typical Mexican spot—nicely decorated and lively, making it a great place to enjoy a night out.
Everyone at our table enjoyed their food, and despite it being a very busy night, we didn’t mind the slower service. The staff was friendly and accommodating, and we appreciated their effort.
While the menu doesn’t label gluten-free options, our server was knowledgeable and able to guide us through what was safe to order, which was really helpful.
I also really enjoyed my skinny margarita—it’s great to have the option for a refreshing drink without all the sugar.
Overall, it was a fun and tasty experience. We’ll definitely be back!

DON’T ORDER TAKE OUT!!. They will mess up your order and tell you “they can’t do anything about it”. We ordered side of rice and Birra tacos with extra cheese and cilantro… they gave us barely any cheese at all. We’ve dined in before, ordered the exact same thing and it looked totally different… Lesson learned.

We had an amazing experience. Me and my team are here for a conference. The food was on point, service good, not a long wait for seating or food. I’ll be back! Also, the bartender recommended a mix frozen drink that was divine. I don’t like alcohol. However, this mix he boasted of sold me on giving it a try. Glad I did……
