Tried a new place today. Pete’s Family Restaurant in Clemmons. We were hoping for breakfast, but the cut off point had been reached. I had a Cheeseburger and Fries and my friend had Salt and Pepper Catfish. The food was very good. My hamburger was fresh and very tasty. Our drink situation was strange. The waitress refilled our glasses, but mixed up our drinks. When we pointed out the mistake, she apologized and promptly disappeared. After 15 minutes, we asked for a manager, who was very nice and straightened everything out. Knowing that everyone has an off day, we will return for breakfast probably.

It’s kind of inconvenient that there has always been a wait when I go there for lunch during the week but that’s a good indication of the food quality. The sweet potato casserole is absolutely the best I’ve ever had and I’ve had a lot . Every thing else I’ve eaten there is pretty typical family restaurant food but its always cooked to perfection . When I’m in the area at lunch I’m going to Pete’s!

Nice family restaurant, busy, and nice atmosphere. Friendly staff very helpful explain menu and gives suggestions. Me and my mom got lunch today, first time visit. The food was delicious and so much food, very pleased!! I had the ribeye sub, onion rings and pot salad(I love!) My mom had country style steak, mashed potatoes and pinto beans. Everything was delicious and home made!! We will be back again, love the food!!!

This was one of the best places we have ate. Prices were great. We had two big pieces of country style steak and gravy, two sides, and toast for only a little over $8. Service was wonderful, food was fantastic. Very nice place. All home cooking.

Pete’s has the best fried seafood platters anywhere. Nice slab of flounder, large popcorn shrimp and they put like 15 oysters on your plate. Always cooked perfectly. Better than Yadkin Valley, Mayflower or any of the usual suspects. Waitresses do a perfect job and the kitchen gets the food out super fast. Keep up the good work!

Came in today for the first time with my co-workers. And it was a little packed but we got seated pretty quick. I ordered the fried pork chops with mashed potatoes and fried okra. Boy oh boy oh boy the food was amazing with every bite. Everything was seasoned right, it was hot and kept you wanting more. This is definitely going to be our lunch spot now and probably dinner too maybe even breakfast lol. No complaints about anything. And it was very reasonably priced. Will definitely be in here again and again.
