Short & Sweet: High-quality meats cooked on a hot stone, fresh seafood, playful plating, and staff happy to keep it clean for macro-tracking.
What stood out here is the ingredient quality and the cooking theater. Alchemist got one of the best beef quality in Warsaw. The steak arrives sizzling on a hot stone so you control doneness—crispy sear outside, buttery-tender inside. Octopus is meaty and perfectly tender, not rubbery – TOP. Beef tartare (one of the best in Warsaw) is bright and well-seasoned, served with flair. Plates look sharp and colorful (grilled veg, tidy sides), and portions land in the “athlete-approved” zone. Service is upbeat and quick; the room hums with energy without being loud. Cocktails/teas are playful (non-alco versions for kids possible) if you’re off-duty; otherwise they’re great about water/zero-sugar swaps.
Macro-friendly note: Easy to order no oil, no sauces, salt & pepper only—they’ll bring dressings on the side and keep the protein plain if you ask.
Tip: For the best bite, sear your steak 30–60 sec per side on the stone, then park it on the edge so it doesn’t overcook. Add a simple salad and you’ve got a clean, competition-season meal.
The prices are very fair for the quality and portion sizes. What really surprised me was the speed – your full meal arrives almost as quickly as fast food (maybe just a little longer), which is honestly impressive.
The atmosphere and overall vibe are great, and the service stands out as well. This time we were served by Marcin, who was attentive, friendly, and happy to offer recommendations
If you’re in the area, definitely check it out—you won’t be disappointed.
We had starters plus the filet mignon that just melted in our mouths, and rib-eye, both sizzling on the stone. Highly recommend!
Thank you again xx
