I did speak with GM. Honestly I’m unsure about this one.
Currently Still No response after responding to the link McDonalds sent. On November 18th I’ve called Ana in McDonalds Corporate Office. I will update after.
*I spoke with Anna. She mentioned she will get this to the owners. I will provide an update in 24 Hours.
On November 13th, 2025, I walked into this restaurant simply hoping to grab something decent to eat. Two kiosks were broken, so l stood in line behind a white female UPS driver and a gentleman. Nothing unusual.
When it was finally my turn, the tone shifted immediately. No greeting. No acknowledgment. Nothing. Everyone before me was treated like an actual customer, yet somehow I didn’t qualify for even basic courtesy. I’m still ok.
l asked a simple question about the menu, and the Caucasian cashier didn’t bother to answer she just pointed up like I was an inconvenience for even speaking. I still kept calm. When I ordered my meal and asked for it fresh and adjusted a few toppings just mayo, cheese, and pickles. I was abruptly told afterwards it would be an extra charge. Fine. I declined. Then the same thing happened with my nuggets. I asked for ranch and sweet & sour so I could mix them, and she cut me off again just to tell me that would cost extra. So, while I was still trying to sort out the sauce situation, oh yea I even apologized to her so she wouldn’t feel I was giving her a hard time. Instead of professionalism, she launched into a rant about their front and back-of-house procedures and information nobody asked for. She acted as if my order was some kind of disruption to her day. An African American manager stepped in to adjust the prices, but even before I could pay, the cashier found something else to talk about. She noticed my unbranded cup. She made sure to tell me l wouldn’t be allowed free water and would have to pay for a cup. Fine again. I declined. Here’s where the disgust truly set in….The UPS worker “the white woman” ahead of me and the gentleman ahead of me both returned to the counter once their orders were ready. I watched this same cashier hand them, extra toppings extra sauces, and even gave the man a free tall cup so he could fill it with whatever drink he wanted. Everything I was told I had to pay for …they received “$FREE99”, without
hesitation, without attitude, without a single word about charges. She did it openly, right in front of me, as if the double standard was normal. As if I wasn’t supposed to notice.
When I brought it to the manager, it felt like the concern evaporated in the air. No seriousness. No urgency. No accountability.
And to make the atmosphere even more disturbing, another employee in earshot started shouting out racially insensitive comments “African American giga boo.” I still don’t even know what that’s supposed to mean, but the hostility behind it was obvious.
What I encountered in that store was blatant profiling, prejudice, and a complete lack of respect. Not just poor service discriminatory service. The kind of treatment that lets you know exactly how they see you the moment you step to the counter.
Before someone from corporate sends me the usual canned response telling me to follow some link and file this somewhere else, try reaching out directly. What happened here was unacceptable.

There’s a high probability that your delivery order will be canceled mid delivery, or as they reach your location. Those were fun. I really hate to have to cook after I paid for delivery that reached my house, and canceled before I got it. This was after an almost 3-hour wait. I understand driver emergencies, but all the drivers except two. A couple of the orders got canceled, and they didn’t even tell the delivery driver. The driver called me like I did it. We both were confused. Man I’m dead
The people in the restaurant are genuinely friendly, but they seem to be on edge a bit. One wrong move, they might take it out on you So give them some grace. They are working in a food desert, so they are a part of the community, and very appreciated. I never ever argue with people who are working. Let them work, let them live. Everybody has an issue. I won’t take it out on the McDonald’s people. Maybe that wrong order is a chance for you to gain a new experience, and receive a more expensive order with something new to try. However, come on man!
*Edit
Try it again to make sure it’s not a fluke. Here’s a quick list:
– Plain cheeseburger ordered, but obviously had pickles ketchup mustard and onions scraped off.
– finger was poked through the bottom buns
– buns were stale. (Didn’t need bread anyway, but really )
– still had onion fragments they had missed
– cheese was more on the package than on the burger
– left a soggy gelatinous pickle clinging to the bun
Not upset, kinda expected nonsense, and received it.
Instead, the staff decided on their own to give me only one Steak & Egg Biscuit and one Sausage McMuffin, which is clearly less food and less value than what I paid for. When I brought this up, the manager stated that what I received was “enough” and refused to adjust the order or provide an equivalent replacement, keeping over $3.00 of the amount paid.
The lack of bagels was not my responsibility as the customer, and I believe substitutions should reflect equal value, especially when the customer clearly communicates their request. Unfortunately, this situation was handled poorly, and customer satisfaction did not seem to be a priority.
I hope management reviews their substitution and customer service practices to avoid situations like this in the future.
I’ve tried really hard to be lenient with this location but it’s really disappointing when everyday for them is a bad day. At this rate just close this location, it would be doing beech island a favor.
You KNOW it’s bad when the manager has her personal number posted on the outside for comments.
I go through drive thru and they are so quick to get you out, I’m just ready to grab the food and go
I get home and both instances-this is what the large fries looks like (pictured)
NONE were eaten on the way home
The disappointment I experienced when I got home and see the fries that I paid for to get a large were not all there….
And I also ordered a hot fudge sundae…they hand it to me with the ice cream and fudge flowing off the top of the cup with a lid that does not fit the cup
I drive out of the line and it immediately is dripping off the sides and onto my lap and seatbelt
Had about 2 napkins in the bag that were not helping at all
Do better, McDonalds
I expect to get what I pay for and this is unnecessary
