Delicious hibachi!
We love coming here for special occasions or the spontaneous lunch visit. They offer a buffet that’s wonderful as well.
I could drink the salad dressing, it’s so delicious. The soup has a few mushrooms and onions but the true star is the broth. It has a simplicity and yet there’s depth in the flavors. I encourage you to try both, even if you aren’t usually a soup or salad person.
The hibachi is so delicious. Rice, noodles, generous vegetables, and whatever protein you choose.
I also recommend the buffet. There are tons of sushi options and you also get it make a hibachi plate… just without the performance.

My family came in last minute of closing…from walking in to exiting, everything was so amazing. Although my son did not like the noodles, my husband n I enjoyed everything n we all plan on coming back. My boy plans on trying the hot pot. We love the anime.

We’ve been here many times to celebrate birthdays. This time was very low-key. Not much positive interaction with the chef. The sushi was great. The hibachi meal was just ok. The filet mignon was definitely not high quality meat. It was tough and didn’t even look like a filet. More like a strip steak. Rice & veggies were very good. Noodles not my favorite, but others in our group enjoyed them.

WATCH YOUR RECEIPTS AND DON’T DOUBLE TIP!!!
We had reservations last night and were not seated for over 20 mins. I get that it can be busy, but if a restaurant cannot honor reservations, they shouldn’t be taking them. They could’ve offered a round of drinks, even an apology, but in our case they avoided eye contact as we sat there waiting. The food was good, the cook and server friendly. However, I really felt like it was sneaky and poor practice for this restaurant to include a mandatory gratuity on our bill (about 20%) but still printed a tip line on the receipt. This encourages tipping on an already inflated total! Watch your receipts, they are trying to pressure you to double tip! Sneaky and greedy!!!!!
*** This tipping scheme makes me incredibly angry because we were just here a few months ago and didn’t notice and ended up paying 40% tip on $270!!! Borderline fraud!

Love this restaurant. A friend recommended it to me and brought me here and loved it as soon as we walked in. The kiosk ordering is simple and self explanatory. I’m only ordering for takeout tonight but i’m excited to come back and eat in!

We’ve been coming here for years, for all celebrations and we love this place. However, I’m a server and I’m very put off by the experience we had tonight. We were charged a gratuity charge on our bill and were not notified and then asked to tip more with a note that said additional tip would be split with the cooks. I asked if the included gratuity charge went towards the server and they responded with “not really” the cooks get “most of it” and anything additional tipped would then go to the server… so we were charged $30 in included gratuity on our $170 bill… not notified… bill was $220…my dad paid, then expected to tip another 20% on top of that. The staff ended up with a $70 tip because they told us that the included gratuity would not go toward the server and we did not want to leave the server with no tip. We’re very discouraged and our family will likely not return.

Went for the first time on Friday, been to others but not here, my friend and I went and wasn’t disappointed. The broth could of had just a touch more seasoning, but it was good. The cheese rangoo was good and the calamari had good flavor but it was just a little more on the chewy side. The Dragon Roll was also very good. We both got The Triple, what we got was very tasty also, all the meat was very tender. Everything in all was very good, yes staff was very friendly, food delicious, yes I’d go back and so would my friend.

Some of the best sushi in town. The hibachi grill is a fantastic experience, perfect for a celebration or family dinner. The chefs are so talented and make it a lot of fun.

The food is always great and I’ve always enjoyed visiting Kobe. I have only been for dinners and have never been for lunch. Unfortunately when we did show up for lunch, my wife and I missed the lunch menu by 6 minutes at 2:36 PM. All we were looking for was a small lunch portion and not dinner. Unfortunately since we missed out by only a few minutes, they were going to make us get the dinner menu. This was very disappointing, so they did loose out on my business for this visit. We were also planning to order different types of meals, so it was not possible to share a dinner during this visit. I understand lunch times do have to end at some point before people start going out for dinner, but it was barely past 2:30 and still early in the afternoon. It felt like there could have been some discretion here; however, it was not offered and we were told we could order a dinner to share instead. As I do like the food and atmosphere, I am only leaving this review as a suggestion to management that maybe the lunch hour could be reevaluated or possibly leave some discretion for lunch orders in the future, especially if we are only talking a few minutes.
