I thoroughly enjoyed my experience at Urban recently. I enjoyed their okra dish (bindi), array of tandoori meats, lamb naan, basmati rice, masala rum & fine Zinfandel wine. It’s the best I’ve experienced in COS so far. I’ll come back and recommend the same for others! 🙂 Yum.

The Indian “pop” was also quite good, with options for lemon lime and coke flavors. I tried the lamb naan, and it was truly delicious. The serving sizes are generous, making it perfect for family style sharing. Overall, I highly recommend this place for both the food and the great service.

Wanted a taste of quality Indian food and nothing beats Urban Tandoor. The same owners and lead chef over the last 6 years and the food quality has only increased! Many places often drift off – but not this one. Our server Paul was super helpful in suggesting new dishes that we hadn’t tasted before and all his examples were excellent. We had the Chicken Jaffrani, Dum Biryani chicken and chicken…something that I forgot but it was delicious. We will definitely be coming back soon. Really appreciate the dedication to quality food and service here. Highly recommend.

Craving for dosa so ended up at Urban Tandoor. Turns out they only serve dosa on Sunday, so I switched gears and ordered their Chicken Chettinad (asked for max spicy level). Pleasantly surprised by how generously they used curry leaves. The curry had a great texture, and the chicken was incredibly tender. To finish, I had the Rasmalai. It was a lovely, rich touch but not too sweet. Also had a nice chat with Head Chef Dev, very nice guy.

Food was delicious and each had an interesting and unique flavor. The Chettinad had a deep spicy gravy, and the giant coco korma was rich and creamy. Rally great experience, the server was friendly and helpful and the robot delivery was fun. Definitely coming back.

Sunday lunch found us at Urban Tandoor on N. Academy Blvd. The service was excellent with chef Dev Mehta giving our dishes his custom spicing attention!!! I had Chicken Tikka Chasni and the tandoori chicken was excellent, but I’d never had a tomato gravy with mango chutney before – very good!!! We also had Aloo Gobi which was very well presented and excellent in taste. Don’t miss this gem of classic Indian food in North Colorado Springs!!! OH, and a 4-tier robot delivers the dishes to your table!! Outstanding

Ordered Dum Biryani Chicken and it doesn’t taste like biryani. It tasted like plain rice mixed in some chicken curry. When I tried the same dish few months ago, it was good. Also the rice they used probably wasn’t Basmati.

I’ve been wanting to try this place for a very long time and I am so happy that I finally did. You walk in and smell the amazing spices, admire the cool decor, and have a view into the kitchen. I was greeted immediately and served promptly. I couldn’t believe it but the chicken wings were some of the best I ever had. I had never had muglai korma before but it and the vindaloo were delicious. Saurabh’s service was fantastic and he was very helpful with the menu. I very much recommend and I will be returning as frequently as possible to try the other dishes they offer.

Had an amazing experience at Urban Tandoor! The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a great spot to enjoy a meal. The food was absolutely delicious, the chicken and lamb were tender, perfectly cooked, and full of flavor. Plus, the portion sizes were generous, giving us plenty to enjoy. Definitely a must visit for anyone craving quality Indian cuisine. Will be coming back for sure!
