I’ve ate here a few times since I’ve been in town for work. And till tonight no complaints. It’s actually been one of the most consistent cookouts I’ve been too as far as the food goes. And it was still pretty solid tonight. But the service wasn’t just bad it was disrespectfully bad tonight. There is 2 cars in line. Nobody is inside other than me. And I stood there for 7mins before I was even acknowledged. The girl I’m assuming is supposed to be working the front walked past me 4 times to go outside and talk to someone. A girl in the back working the window never said anything. A guy does come from the back and begins to take my order but then he leaves mid order and I’m still just standing there. Finally the girl comes to take my order and says “do u need to order?” No ive just been standing here for almost 10mins to admire the view I don’t want any food. Then after I get my food I stood there another several minutes waiting to get my drink and ask for sauce. Once again ignored by SEVERAL employees until a girl that works there that wasn’t even on shift comes over from getting her food to go behind the counter and help me. So atleast yall had one solid employee there tonight as far as customer service and she wasn’t even clocked in. Obviously im extremely patient person to stand there that long but it was bad enough for me to leave this review. Whoever yall have running the front tonight is gonna cost yall business in the future. I mean that wasn’t just bad service that was disrespectful to basically act like I was invisible, especially for the fact I was the only customer there.

I’ve been a regular customer at this Cook Out location since I moved to Columbia, and until recently I’ve never had a reason to complain. Unfortunately, the past two visits have been extremely disappointing due to the same employee working the drive-thru.
After a long day at work, I pulled in expecting a quick meal like I usually do. Instead of any type of greeting or basic customer service, I was met with a rude “order when you’re ready.” The employee taking my order clearly had an attitude the entire interaction. When I got to the window, I realized I didn’t catch the total correctly and was trying to grab the rest of the money. Instead of simply repeating the total or showing basic patience, she rolled her eyes and said “oh my god” as if I was inconveniencing her.
At that point I decided not to even complete the order. I drove off without my food because the level of disrespect was unnecessary. What makes this worse is that this is the second time I’ve had a negative experience with the same employee, and it completely ruins what used to be a reliable stop for me.
Everyone has bad days, but consistently treating customers like they’re a burden is unacceptable. I hope management takes this seriously and addresses the situation, because experiences like this will absolutely drive regular customers away.

The food was quick and good. The blueberry cheesecake shake was kind of amazing. Service was great; staff were polite. The only thing that might be off-putting was the religious music playing, but you’re in South Carolina. It’s just kind of a thing.

Best Cookout I have ever been to. Never slammed, so no long lines. They always take time to get your order right (I don’t think my order has ever been wring from this location). They are always nice and polite, I even got asked how I was doing during my last visit. Best quality food from any Cookout I’ve had, shakes are always good.
No judgement to locations that are often slammed with customers and therefore have little time to make food or be polite with customers, but this is a more enjoyable experience.

Had orientation today for a new job on Bush River. Was starving and hardly ever get to eat Cookout. Ordering was quick food was hot fresh and delicious. Black queen at the window even had a friendly attitude. The aftermath below ❤️

We had an order for four people and milkshakes we ordered two cheeseburger platters she gave us the total and we told her we still had to order more and she said she couldn’t hear us so we pulled up and they gave us our total and couldn’t add so we had to drive through again. Nobody was sympathetic nobody even apologized.

Food is really good and reasonably priced. The only problem is the poor sound of the audio at the drive-thru order station. Scratchy and distorted and has been for years. Access and exit very easy.

Need zero stars!!! It’s Sunday Nov 16 @10:50 am . Went to the drive thru the lady was extremely rude! Kept cutting us off when ordering. Huffing and Puffing!!! Rudely saying “ I heard you! Went to the window she rolled her eyes and we pulled off! Will not get any of my money with that attitude!! Someone needs another job! Clearly she not happy! Will not be back!

We came here with a friend for cheap, good food. I got a cookout tray with a big double burger, white cheddar cheese bites, and chicken nuggets. I got ketchup, mayo, and lettuce on my burger, and cheese for an added charge. The burger was really good! I have been to another location and the patties were small, but the patties on this one were a good size. The cheese bites were delicious as usual, as were the chicken nuggets. The inside of the restaurant was super clean, and the workers were incredibly friendly and seemed genuinely happy to be there. I would definitely come back to this location.

Dude I came to the drive through thinking I would be there forever and this place legit took two minutes from the time i got in line to take my payment to then give me my food. It was also during late night Saturday hours where all the drinks hit them up. Whatever you’ve done to train this staff, keep it up!
