Roma has amazing food, great service quick and friendly, and the atmosphere is lovely. Can’t say enough good things about the place. Try the Roma Special, the pink sauce is so yummy and you get to try several meats… and get a dessert! They are delicious.

First time going to Roma’s and I was blown away! The food is magnificent and the servings are huge! I had 3 servings left over to take home! Definitely get your money’s worth! Their bread is delicious as well. The BEST Italian restaurant in Omaha! Definitely recommended it!

my husband and i ate here tonight (feb 13th…) and we went in knowing it was going to be busy since it’s friday night and valentine’s day weekend. we waited only about 5 minutes to be seated and everything was fine. we did wait about 10-15 minutes to even be greeted and get a drink order but we were fine and expected it. our waitress came over and took our order and passive aggressively made us aware it was gonna be a while for our food. her tone sort of made us feel like we were a huge inconvenience to her. but AGAIN, we understood we were going to have to wait a little longer and we were fine with it. everytime she came over to our table (which wasn’t often) she would slam things down and storm off without saying a word. after being there for well over an hour and a half we put our card out and my husband asked for a military discount. we’ve gotten a military discount everytime we’ve eaten here without any issues and they have only ever needed to see his id, she was visibly frustrated we asked for the discount and insisted that i needed to show id too. we didn’t argue with her we just kind of looked at each other weird because we were just a little confused. i was getting my id out and she just stormed off, rang us up, slammed our receipt down, and stormed off saying nothing. i work in a restaurant so i understand the stress and when you’re busy you don’t have the time to interact with your tables like normal but this felt solely targeted at us as she was admirable and talkative with all of her other tables around us. we love romas and will obviously be back but i think they could use a bit more of a staff on nights when they are expected to be busy to avoid poor service because their servers are overwhelmed.

I went to eat at Roma’s on a Saturday at 5:00 PM. The 6 of us were able to be seated without any wait time. Our server was very polite and cracked a few jokes with us. The food arrived about 10 to 15 minutes after we ordered. The dishes we ordered were Steak (cooked well & tasted good), Chicken Florentine (Amazing flavor), and Chicken Parm (it was OK). We spent 130.00 for just the food. I would recommend thus restaurant to anyone looking for a calm atmosphere. When we left there was a line of people waiting all the way out the door.

The restaurant is truly far from being Italian.
The decor is dated and not at all Italian-style, the place is spacious but empty.
Excellent service, the girls are very kind; but that’s where the good things end.
Pasta cooked in unsalted water, a salad as an appetizer that was enough for three people.
They don’t have sparkling water…
Sorry, but I can’t call it “Italian.”
More attention should be paid to the food and presentation.

We heard great reviews for this place but when we arrived, they were short staffed. We understand challenges around the holiday time, but what I didn’t appreciate was the shortness from the hostess or the fact that they had cleared 5 tables (as you can see in the picture) and were not seating anyone waiting. There were several groups of 4 waiting to be seated. The hostess was just standing there. Ultimately after about 4 more groups entered and these tables sat empty, we chose to leave. It’s typical dinner rush hours and having two little kids, we couldn’t continue to wait in a conjested entry way. Also, there were elderly having to stand since they only had seating for about 5 which was filled from the first group still waiting.

Delicious Italian food! That sums up our experience at Roma Italian Restaurant; but it doesn’t say enough… Service was superb and the atmosphere was pleasant too. We relaxed while listening to Perry Como and Vic Damone — a nice musical improvement from the last several restaurants that we have visited.
Meals come with a salad which is nicely chilled and includes tomato, onion, etc. The house Italian dressing was delightfully tangy. The Garlic Rolls were warm and very tasty!
My wife chose the Pasta Combo and I had the Spinach Ravioli. They looked so good that we started eating before I remembered to take the attached photos. Flavor and temperature of both were excellent!
In order to try a dessert, we elected to take home a portion of our entrees. The Cannoli was a picture of perfection… and tasted just as good! So good that I didn’t even stop to snap a photo. Trust me, or better yet, try this place yourself — everything was very delicious!

Roma’s was highly recommended in some groups I’m in, and honestly I thought it was another restaurant for the longest time that I already reviewed which was why I hadn’t gone. After trying this restaurant I’m excited to try more from them.

Portions are very generous.
They have complimentary bread service.

We went during lunch, so we got the lunch special menu as well.

Pasta sampler special
5 stars
At lunch it’s 10.99. You save 2 dollars. At dinner I suggest you get the pasta combo which has a large serving of the sampler plus 2 more items. The price difference is 2 dollars from there (so a total of 4 at lunch, but 2 at dinner), so it’s not much money, but you get a lot more. Lunch also comes with a salad which is why I went with the pasta sampler today.
The flavors are perfect for me and this is a dish id return for. The price point is also very good.

Grilled chicken breast
4 stars
It was a great version of the grilled chicken breast. Good sized portion. At lunch it was 13 dollars. The vegetables were over salted for my tastes.

Roma special
4.5 stars
I think the sauce in this was excellent. My chef friend thought it tasted like pizza sauce though. I ordered this because I asked for their 5 star item. The dish itself was massive. For 17.99 it was a great deal with all the meat it came with. I’m just not really into that much meat, but it is very much perfect for the meat lover. I can see why they wanted me to try this dish.

Service started off a bit rocky in terms that we sat there for a good amount of time with no one coming up to us.
As soon as someone finally approached our table, the service from then was excellent.
I included my body in one of the photos with the dishes next to each other for size comparison.

Parking is available in a medium sized lot. The rows were a bit narrow and difficult for my friends jeep (he has a very large vehicle) , but smaller cars will have no problems.
