Tacos were very white person tacos, they had olives and the salsa was not spicy at all. Not my favorite
Clam chowder is very good. The soup is nice and thick with lots of clam. The bread bowl was way too soft but the actual soup was delicious

I had the fish and chips here and it was absolutely delicious—crispy, golden batter with tender, flaky fish inside. The fries were perfectly cooked, and everything was served hot and fresh. On top of that, the location is fantastic—easy to find and a great atmosphere to relax and enjoy a meal. Definitely worth a visit if you’re craving classic fish and chips done right!

Fish was alright, tasted very dry and wasn’t seasoned too well but it’s edible. Definitely not worth the price as a 5 piece fish and chips is $22. We got garlic fries, which for some reason are fries with a handful of minced garlic rather than garlic salt & Italian on it. We finished our food not because it was good but because we were starving and desperate. Overall an incredibly average meal, definitely worth it to wait in the line at Giovanni’s than to settle for this.

Been going here since I was young with my family, always had amazing burgers… been getting the sourdough bowl clam chowder recently and it’s been consistently and always hits different. Good seating and service. Although there are a decent amount of pigeons in the trash so watch out as you walk by… besides that amazing and will always come here when I want clam chowder in a sourdough bowl

The Lil Hut is a Fish and Chips hut where you buy your meal at the window and choose to either eat at the tables outside breathing the Morro Bay ocean breeze, or take it home. The high quality fish and chips at prepared freshly as you order it, this makes a big difference to me. Fish is just perfect, moist and flaky inside with a nice thin crust. Highly recommended!!!

I should have realized something was wrong since they weren’t busy on a Friday at dinner time, but I decided to purchased the 5 piece Fish & Chips and an order of the onion rings, it cost $34, The food was horrible, the fish portions were small, greasy, over cooked, and chewy, the onion rings tasted like store bought and were also very greasy, So I basically spent $34 for okay French fries. I will never be eating here again its way to expensive for such horrible quality food, I suggest you go elsewhere, hell Long John Silvers would have been better than this place and cheaper.

RUN!!!! They don’t wear gloves, have food sitting on the floor, and the batter bowls for fish and chips sits under the greasy stove, the employees are rude and if you complain they complain right back to you. This place is disgusting. I got fish and Garlics fries and they messed it up when I went back to say something they took my container and just threw jarred garlic on it. My fish had a huge bone and when I pointed it out the cook took that piece with bare hands and gave me another one which ended up having three more bones. Never again DONT DINE HERERUN!!!! Cute place with no frills food and good clam chowder. No locally caught fish here yet they’re right next to the fishing boats. The guy taking orders was not real friendly and didn’t know the menu. The salmon tacos were pretty basic with wheat tortillas and lots of lettuce. Would’ve been better Baja style. On a positive note, my mom loves the clam chowder here!

Wanted to try this place during my stay so my wife and I ordered the fish & chips with the clam chowder bread bowl. The fish tasted so fresh and fried perfectly. The chips (fries) were so good they were good when they turned cold after taking the left overs to go. The clam chowder was pretty tasty, a little different recipe then normal but a nice difference. The bread bowl was amazing. I would definitely visit again.

Same as Harbor Hut… you can’t go wrong with whatever you order. The difference being you are not waited on, but simply self-seated in the open air.
The food is outstanding and the atmosphere is what you make it.
