Wonderful restaurant. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and extensive menu. I saw 2 or 3 more items I want to come back for… wings on special. 3 napkins per wing or more needed wow… And I got a great Guinness pour with a shamrock ☘️
Highly recommended.

Highly disappointed. I’ve gon to raffertys many times and never had this issue but lastnight march 7th felt like there was a decline , my server never once gave us his name and then a younger female server came after him not knowing whether or not we were served she was confused I was confused with that being said the place was a ghost town and we waited 25 minutes just for apps ( mozzarella sticks BURNT) to then get asked what we wanted as a entree my father asked for a well done burger with just onions, he then was served a pink burger with mushrooms inside we ordered their “freshly baked bread” never once got it just overall disappointed and to top it off it was my BIRTHDAY , Do better raffertys you had a bunch of employees standing around doing NOTHING and still Couldn’t get it RIGHT!

Excellent, excellent, excellent!! First off, the atmosphere is great. Sat in the room with a mini library. Great vibe. Awesome menu selection. Not your typical pub food. My husband and I ordered the special which was a pappardelle with short rib and pulled pork bolognese. It was to die for. Omg…sooo good. Ordered a tiramisu to split for desert. That was a bit dry but it also didn’t seem like a typical tiramisu recipe so not sure about that, but I wouldn’t hold it against them. Waitress was great, drinks and main dish were great and coffee was fresh. We’ll be hitting there again for sure. Right in near by New Brunswick.

Mother’s Day dinner at Old Man Rafferty’s
Surprisingly, there was not a wait
The place was nicely decorated with balloons throughout the place, which was nice
For appetizers, we ordered the Bavarian Pretzel and Chicken Wings.
For the Dinners, we had the Chicken Parm sandwich with zucchini fries, Filet Mignon Sliders, and the Shrimp tacos
Too full so had to skip dessert
The service and food were great.

Waitress was great. Food is mist likely frozen and reheated as it was super hot on the inside. Nice to see halal chicken parm on the menu but it wasn’t cooked very well when I tried a friend’s dish. Large menu usually equals not fresh food.boom boom shrimp is a great appetizer.

It was our first time going to Old Man Rafferty’s. We met up with long-time friends we hadn’t seen in a while, and it was the perfect setting to reconnect! Our server was excellent, and the food was above and beyond. I had the chicken parmesan dinner that came with baked ziti and garlic bread, and we ordered a Caesar salad to share. It’s a little over an hour away, but worth the trip. We will return.

Food was very good. Atmosphere was festive and upbeat. Our server, Lily, was excellent, helping us with our selections, and managing the service pacing. Drinks, Appetizers, Entrees all came out on time, no delays, and we didn’t feel rushed. Lily was also very personable, and professional. An excellent hostess.

Friendly service, many choices to satisfy everyone on your group, nice atmosphere. Dim sum dumplings weren’t good. Edges way too crispy as if heated up multiple times. Otherwise, everything else was tasty.

What happened to Old Man Rafferty‘s? empty on Friday night? I just thought well I don’t know what I thought. I should’ve walked out when i saw There was nobody there.
My tacos were cold and tasted like they put Old El Paso salsa on them . The corned beef, and cabbage, spring rolls were just tasteless an On a greasy plate ! with mustard. I hate to talk bad about mustard. I never met a mustard I didn’t like until last night. It must have been very old . Time to close the doors an start something new.

I’ve been to Old Man Rafferty’s many times over the years and always had a great experience; this past Hallowe’en was no different. My wife and I selected our meals from the extensive food menu and were not disappointed. The beer list is a little uninspired, but easily offset by the eclectic choice of seasonal cocktails, as well as perennial staples. Our server was the charming Jasmine, who was pleasant and professional. I would also like to give a shout out to Rico Senior, who is excellent and has a very wry sense of humor. As a final note, Old Man Rafferty’s is also kind to your wallet. Definitely recommend!
