A great venue in the heart of Harrogate and as always, The Ivy delivered a welcoming experience. The breakfast was superb bar the fact that they serve American-style streaky bacon, which is hardly worth the effort. Two of the same coffee order were also totally different but we hope this was just a blip as we love visiting The Ivy.

This was my first ever visit to an Ivy restaurant and to say i was amazed by the beautiful interior would be an understatement. The moment you walk in you’re greeted by staff who look after you very well throughout your entire meal. The food was on another level, i had the ossobuco which i was apprehensive towards at first but it was honestly incredible. When the staff found out we were celebrating two birthdays, they brought out two complimentary, birthday desserts!! Lovely atmosphere, fantastic service and top tier food!

Probably one of the worst meals ever had. We were sat the table for 25mins with no service and no one asked us if we would like any drinks. Eventually after flagging down a server, they came over to take our order.
We ordered various dishes from the Blackened Cod, Shepherds Pie. We were both very disappointed with the quality and that nothing was done about it. The cod was overcooked and chewy, the shepherds pie was lacking flavour and cold.
For the price you pay, you expect better quality and service from an established restaurant.
I would like that The Ivy follow up on this and provide vouchers to cover the cost for us to experience again.

Lovely place, we went for breakfast and it was fairly quiet, the staff were really friendly and attentive the breakfast was tasty and immaculate, all in all a lovely pit stop whilst shopping in Harrogate

Incredible breakfast today celebrating a special occasion (release of my second book)! Keira was so attentive, kind and affable and the food was excellent. I had the set breakfast which was generous and delicious (full English, croissant they kindly boxed up for my daughter) and a refreshing green juice. My mum had poached eggs and switched the muffins for sourdough. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you!

Exceptional service from Kensie our waiter for breakfast. So charming, friendly and arranged our table to the point of turning our teapots handle out so it was easy to reach from our direction which I think he spotted well from his direction. Sounds a simple thing but to me it was something I would have done and I was so happy he noticed!!
Kensie noticed I was taking a photo and asked if we were visiting as a special occasion, to my surprise he appeared at the most appropriate time with a profiterole birthday candle treat!
