I genuinely cannot remember the last time I had actual seasoned breakfast potatoes at a restaurant. The potatoes here are seasoned perfectly. The lobster Benedict was tender and flavorful. The soufflé pancakes are probably decent if you prefer that type of pancake; I prefer traditional pancakes and these were alright.

Within walking distance of doubletree ala moana. I waited about 45 mins on a Tuesday and I signed in at around 9:30 AM

Great place. Great food. The gentleman who greeted us at the door and seated everyone was amazing. The souffle pancakes were different but good. the French toast is great and the Loco Moco was delicious.

It’s a small place and they get busy quick, so plan ahead.

This place must be in some guidebook as every morning I can see the large crowd of tourists gathered at the door of this tiny place. This is a cash only place so every time I walked by I remembered that I didn’t have any cash on me. Finally yesterday we got to try its soufflé with strawberry and matcha tea sauces. The staff told us all their fruit sauces were made from real fruits. The soufflé was light as it should be and not overly sweet.

The overall impression of the food itself was good, but the “cash only” policy, the long line, the lack of a nice sitting area and the excessively high price for a soufflé made this a less than desirable for the locals. Perhaps it’s best suited for tourists who would dine once and be gone. I’m pretty certain that the high prices here are directly correlated to the length of the wait time. The more popular, the higher the price.

The breakfast we had here was wonderful. I was worried at first due to the crowd of people waiting and the long sign-up sheet for a table, but we got in within about 20min of putting our name down. The servers were all incredibly nice, one even offered to take a picture of our party for us. The food was amazing and came out super fast. I got the Ono meal kit for a more traditional, savory breakfast. The breakfast potatoes were seasoned amazingly, the protuguese sausage was well cooked, and the eggs were made exactly to order. I thought the prices were decent for what we got. I am tempted to come back here for breakfast every day of our trip!

Tucked away off Ena road, Aloha Kitchen is a must stop place for breakfast and brunch. We decided to get there before it opened and to our surprise there was already a line forming.

They have a sign in sheet so if you do choose to get there early, put your name down and once they open they will call your name out. We had the pleasure of being greeted by one of their workers who just oozes energy and hospitality. Immediately made us feel welcome and cracked jokes to lighten the mood while the rest waited outside for their seats.

Although the interior is small and cozy, it does hold quite a bit of tables and seats.

Ordered the souffle pancakes which were super light and fluffy covered with coconut cream sauce and topped with crushed macadamia nuts. The cream sauce had just the right amount of sweetness to it which was not overbearing sweet where you couldn’t finish it.

Also ordered the eggs Benedict which was savory and well seasoned. The eggs were poached perfectly and was not over salted.

Definitely recommend stopping by here for one of your morning breakfast/ brunch when you visit the islands in the Waikiki area.

Parking is very limited but if you’re lucky, there are places to find parking on the street nearby.

This solid, no-frills breakfast spot in Waikiki served us the Loco Moco (beef) and Egg Sammy bagel sandwich. The Loco Moco is a must-try Hawaiian dish, while the bagel sandwich was a filling and solid breakfast choice. Despite feeling full, it wasn’t greasy or heavy like diners like IHOP or Denny’s. All interactions with the servers were warm and intentional. We’ll definitely get a sweet breakfast soufflé pancake next time.

There’s no designated parking, but you can Uber drop off or park on the street. I’ve included two paid public parking spots (less than a 1-minute walk).

For context we arrived at 7 am with three parties ahead of us. The restaurant uses a paper waitlist, and the host will call names starting at 7:30 am. If you decide to take a walk to pass the time, please make sure you return before your name is called.

Yes, you have to wait, but it is so worth it! The soufflés are amazing – my favorite is the Very Berry Soufflé! We love to go on weekends, when David is working – he is such a character and so friendly! Love this place!

Aloha Kitchen was the best breakfast we had in Waikiki! Everything was delicious, the atmosphere was great, and the service was wonderful. There’s usually a 40-minute line outside, but it was absolutely worth the wait. Highly recommend to everyone!

My wife and I have a rule on vacation you can’t eat at chain restaurants or eat at the same place twice. This place popped up with good reviews. It didn’t disappoint. Food was good. Staff was super friendly and funny. Only downside is it is small so there can be a wait.
