One of the best options for a chill, dining experience in Mexicali. It is slightly tucked away from the main roads, leading to a calm, quiet atmosphere. The place itself is gorgeous. The food is simply excellent. Bring your appetite for meat because that’s what they do best. Get the beef rib or barbacoa. You won’t regret it.

Absolutely more beautiful in person. Obsessed with the Mexican interior design in here. The food was perfect, don’t expect huge food portions/ sharing plates. They serve the right portion per plate. Very tasty, amazing finding in Mexicali, Mexico. The ambiance was nice and up beat. Gorgeous bar area by the front next to the entrance. Really cool and refreshing alcohol drinks like Mezcal with Tamarindo and the popular Cazuela, that’s big enough to share for two. The music was upbeat and brought great vibes to the place.

Absolutely amazing is an understatement! Had the chilaquiles rellenos with Julia sauce(house) and they were delicious! I’d like to believe it’s hand squeezed orange juice but I know it’s freshly squeezed also very tasty and refreshing!! I live too far away but it will now be a go to place when I visit Mexicali again. I also tried the Ribeye chicharrón/guacamole dip with flour tortillas and loved it as well!

First time here and let me say…the service was best service have had in a while…Alejandro Remi took care of us and was attentative to all tables as he was like a team captain. Never did we have to wait for service even waiters not waiting on us asked if we needed anything fine lube machine purring on all cylinders. I have found a new fav restaurant that I need to try all in its menue. I for one would recommend this great cozy place to all my fiends and family.

I got the Huevos de la Abuela and they were really good. I would definitely get them again. Also the queso panela it’s asado but it was so delicious. I only took a picture of this desert which is the pie de guayaba but it was not so great I wouldn’t recommend. But everything else was great!
