My husband and I attended the Valentine’s Day special this year and despite running late, the staff at DLeña was so incredibly accommodating! I want to especially thank Nancy, Rita, and Maritza for being such wonderful humans and going above and beyond for us! The food was exceptional and the chef has an amazing flavor profile in his food that we truly loved! The baby kale salad (smoked grapes!!!), wagyu filet mignon, and passion fruit creme brule and strawberry cheesecake were to die for! Overall amazing experience and we will certainly be returning!

Sat at the bar and ordered tacos. Service was wonderful, food was equally as wonderful. Pricey but delicious. The margarita was so yummy and smooth! The Maryland style crab guacamole was good, I didn’t taste the crab too much so next time I’ll just get the regular guac which was delicious. The star of the show was definitely the ahi tuna tacos…. Oh man. They were PERFECT. Finished with dessert. 10/10

The steak was cooked to perfection.
The broccolini was alright would have just doubled up on the carrots because the sauce paired perfectly with the steak. Would highly recommend and return. The bartender was very nice and knowledgeable. Live music is certainly a place. Plenty of comfortable seating throughout.

i went to dLeña for Valentine’s Day with my boyfriend, after booking a reservation in January. a couple weeks before Valentines Day, we got a call to ask to move down to the lounge from the dining room and i’m so happy we decided to! the lounge is far more intimate without feeling overcrowded, and has so much more of a swanky but cozy feel to it in comparison to the hustle and bustle of the main dining room, which was perfect for Valentines Day.

we ended up ordering pretty much the same thing. i loved that our server asked us about dietary restrictions or allergies. i have a lactose sensitivity, so i can tolerate certain cheeses or small amounts of dairy. i absolutely so appreciate that i was asked about each thing i ordered before it came out to me if i was okay with what was on that particular part of the meal.

i had a generous glass of still rose, as they were out of the sparkling, but still thoroughly enjoyed it. for the appetizer, i chose the scallops. as a person who is quite picky about scallops, i always am worried that they will be briny, gritty, or overcooked, but these scallops were anything but. buttery, soft, with a perfect crust on either side, these scallops were like biting into a savory cloud. i would go back just to order dozens of these.

another pleasant surprise was the caesar salad. my boyfriend and i could *not* stop talking about how *good* this salad is. crunchy, tangy, punchy, and coated heavily, everything about this salad went above and beyond. it completely changed how i thought about caesar salad, and i 100% believe that this is the best one. it was a huge portion, and not a single vegetable was even slightly wilted or mushy. 10/10, we would go back just for the salad, too.

my rose was exceptional with the filet mignon. the filet mignon was cooked perfectly to medium, though it skewed more medium rare (which i prefer), with plenty of juice and deep, meaty flavor. a good steak will speak for itself with minimal additions, and the quality of steak was only amplified by the bone marrow butter poured on top. the mashed potatoes provided a rich kind of base note to the steak, while the charred broccolini gave each bite the snap and bitterness it needed for a more balanced taste. it was a classic meal, but clearly cooked – and presented – in a far more superior manner than any other restaurant.

for dessert, i had a salted caramel and vanilla gelato (not the smartest, given my lactose issues, but i was indulging). i appreciate the dairy free options that were presented as well, especially because i had asked similar questions through their website and actually got responses to all my questions. 🙂 the gelato was wonderfully refreshing, cold with no ice crystals, richly churned and delectably melted in my mouth for a delicious bite each and every time. if you’re ever thinking about going to dlena, just do it – you won’t be disappointed whatsoever.

Dined at dLeña with my friends last night, and it was such a wonderful experience. Every dish we ordered was delicious, and we could tell the chef puts care and attention to detail into every meal. The flavors were magnificent. Our server, Henry, had amazing energy and made the entire experience even better. He was really fun and attentive, kept checking in, and went above and beyond for us. We really want to try the brunch menu now. We’ll definitely be back!

Food was absolutely incredible. Zero complaints. The flavor combinations, attention to detail; everything was perfect. You must try the octopus bone marrow. It was so good, I don’t even have a picture. Our server, Rebecca, was also exceptional! She enhanced an already great experience. Can’t wait to come back!

DLeña came highly recommended from a friend and it definitely didn’t disappoint! Sat in the downstairs lounge area which was so cute and intimate and the live music was amazing! The space was a little tighter at some of the tables and you wanna get there before the crowds so you can have your pick of seating. Bar available too. Staff were friendly, gave great food recommendations, and were checking in often. Everything we ordered off the menu (Maryland crab guacamole, bone marrow and popo/octopus, branzino, steak, oysters, wagyu empanadas, elote mac and cheese) came out in good timing, hot, and tasted amazing! Will go back again to try brunch.

Everything about my first dining experience here was a 10/10!! Our waitress did an excellent job informing us about the menu options and making recommendations. The service was smooth and reasonably timed. The food is flavorful, fresh and outside of your typical Mexican cuisine. I will certainly be returning to try more items and would highly recommend. A manager even removed our desert after we shared our honest feedback when he asked us.

A time was had for brunch! 10/10 recommend. We went for a friends birthday and what a great way to celebrate her! We had the viral sensation Troy as our server and he did not disappoint, he kept us with a smile on our face and our mimosas flowing. We all did the bottomless mimosas and had the food on rotation. Our favs were definitely the crab guacamole, chicken and waffles with extra syrup on the side, and the Baja fish tacos. We decided to end the celebration with lemon drops, let me tell you, the best lemon drop I’ve ever had! I would recommend strawberry and with tequila. I hope to return for dinner. The atmosphere was nice and chilll not too crowded, restrooms were clean and staff very friendly.

dLeña was absolutely phenomenal and worth every penny. The vegetarian options are limited but each one is delicious. The guacamole is good, the corn empanadas are incredibly and the mushroom tacos were so flavorful. I can’t wait to come back here. And the service was great, the staff is so kind.
