Reviews
I ordered three dishes:
• Spicy potatoes ($5): so unbearably spicy that they were simply inedible. Truly a terrible dish.
• Salmon carpaccio ($9): at first glance it looked beautiful on a large plate, but the moment I lifted a slice with my fork, I realized the salmon was sliced nearly transparent. The portions were so thin that one piece of salmon on a simple sushi roll would contain more fish than the entire plate.
• Mushroom risotto ($15): the only dish that was acceptable, but still nothing special — very mediocre.
The total for all three items was $29, and the menu showed prices both in local currency and in USD. I received the bill in local currency, paid without double-checking, and left. Only a few days later, when I checked my mobile banking, I discovered that the transaction had been processed as $42.
How $29 turned into $42 remains unclear — whether they added items I didn’t order or included unauthorized charges or tips, I cannot know since I did not take the receipt. What I do know is that this should never happen in a restaurant that respects its customers.
On top of this, the place leaves a very poor impression: dated early-2000s interior, cheap plastic flowers, thick rain plastic sheets, and old-fashioned heavy leather menus that have been considered outdated in the restaurant world for the past twenty years.
Very disappointed. Shameful experience.
Sure, not cheap, but quality and hard work in kitchen and service pay-off
Loved Pulpo and Filet de Manzo, Pronto.
Also dessert. Like a wonder Box!

The entrance is reached by a series of gangways, ramps and steps. A little bit awkward for those with mobility issues, but certainly not insurmountable.
Once inside, we were astonished at the decor, which was very upmarket, one of the best we had seen in Egypt. Apart from the sumptuous decorations, it was pure white cotton tablecloths & napkins, with silver service cutlery.
The food was impressive, lots of choice, very well presented, a good mixture of cuisine, and lots of it. They were slightly slow at topping up some items, but I think that was because they had a few more customers than they expected, and were having to cook up some additional food.
We had an all inclusive package for the food, so could eat as much as we liked; but drinks including water were extra. However, a large glass of wine and a bottle of beer was less than £4 each, so I didn’t consider it too expensive.
The view was really good, looking at various boats moving about the river.
The service was good, and they were very attentive. Really could not fault it in any way.
Not at all what we expected, a really nice addition to the trip to Cairo.
The service was perfect—attentive without being intrusive. Our server was friendly and recommended some really tasty drinks.
The atmosphere was amazing! It really set the mood for a fantastic dining experience.
Thank you so much for such a perfect experience
Upon arrival, we were assigned to bar-style armchairs and stools, hardly suitable for a fine dining experience, positioned right next to the open kitchen and in a constant traffic area for the staff.
After expressing my disappointment and receiving no response, when I decided to leave, I was suddenly offered a standard table.
Evidently, other priorities came first. This makes the situation even more difficult to understand: the solution existed, but it was not offered with the appropriate attention from the beginning.
A restaurant that aspires to a certain level should remember that reputation is built through attention to detail, not just through its name.
