My aunt and I are huge fans of Indian food so the second we found out about this place within walking distance of her house we headed over. And we were pleasantly surprised! The restaurant itself still has that “former Chinese food place” vibe but there were ample seats and people kept coming in and out for take out orders.
The staff were very friendly and most importantly the food was good! I thought the vegetable samosas were a little skill for $7 but I did like the accompanying chutneys. For our meals we had the saag paneer, chicken korma, and their garlic naan. I like that our curries came with rice and thought they were reasonably priced between $16-17.
The flavors were great and there was definitely enough food for the two of us. My only real gripe is that they had an issue with their billing paper and I had to physically write in a tip, total, and signing line. Kind of weird. But overall I think this is a great addition to Milford and a must try!

I don’t know what the hype is all about. I grew up on Indian food and I understand Indian food very well. First of all the atmosphere: I went in on a cold day, it was FREEZING inside. The waitress said that it finally got up to 70 but it was more like 50°. It was so uncomfortable that I told them to just make my order to go so that I could go eat in my car. No excuse in this day and age for a restaurant to be like this
Secondly, they have no concept of what jeera rice is, Which is basically just basmati rice tossed with cumin and butter. Theirs was a version where it looked like the chef just slept together rice in some curry sauce with peas and all this masala and spices in it. NOT typical jeera rice. I ordered the goat curry extra spicy. Spice level was OK but the curry was otherwise flavorless.
My go to place is Ambrosia Zaika Which is another 10 minutes extra drive, but totally worth it. Their jeera rice hits Every time and their curry is much more flavorful and so is there naan.
If this place is right next to you and you need your Indian fix, I guess this will serve. But when I want really delicious food, I’m not coming here.

We’ve been here twice and the food does not disappoint. We ordered chicken tikka masala, lamb korma and the vegetable biryani. Absolutely delicious! The medium spice level is perfect for sharing among people with varying heat tolerances. Highly recommend giving them a try and next time I am in town, I will absolutely return.

Milford’s been needing an Indian restaurant for a long time, and India Spice delivers. The food is excellent. Our table had garlic naan, aloo paratha, butter chicken, and chicken biryani, and every dish was flavorful, fresh, and satisfying. The staff were kind and attentive. The menu is broad enough to appeal to both newcomers and those who already know their way around Indian cuisine, and the prices are fair for the portion sizes. This spot is long overdue and it’s become a place worth returning to.

Really enjoyed our meal at Milford India Spice. The chicken tikka masala had a rich, flavorful sauce and the chicken korma was smooth and comforting. We also tried the garlic naan and samosas, which were fresh and tasted great. The staff was friendly and the environment felt very family friendly. We will definitely be coming back again.

This place is wonderful, the chicken in their vindaloo was so incredibly tender it was practically falling apart and there’s was lots of it! The flavor was even better than the curry house, which is my usual go to. The naan was tasty as well with plenty of garlic. Will definitely be going back!

So happy to have this place in Milford! Now we don’t have to drive to Franklin when we want Indian food! Food was truly excellent. Bread was clearly homemade. Chana masala had so much flavor. One of the best I’ve had. Will definitely order from here again soon!

What a find! We thoroughly enjoyed our meals, my tofu matar was cooked and spiced to perfection and my husband reported that his chicken tikka was also delicious. The naan was yummy and rice was good. We even have leftovers for tomorrow’s lunch!
