We stopped in on our visit to Burlington over Thanksgiving week. The hostess immediately seated us and our server took our drink orders. Both of the house beers we ordered were excellent. They had a great variety to choose from as well.

We ordered a half and half pizza: the cheese and herb and the medicine wheel. Both were fantastic; it was hard to pick a favorite.

Overall the atmosphere was great, the service was great and we really loved the pizza. We will definitely stop in again when we were in Burlington. Keep up the great work!

I genuinely don’t know how this place has the reviews it has for the food. I had ordered a cheese pizza to go from American Flatbread to take back to the hotel room with me. Me and my partner picked the pizza up almost 5 minutes after we got the text saying our food was ready so it wasn’t sitting for too long. Afterwards, we got back to the hotel in about 10 minutes. A grand total of maybe 20 minutes passed from the pizza leaving the oven, to arriving at the hotel and having the first bite. I was not anticipating the pizza having the texture of the cardboard box it came in, which I can attest to it tasting like because I literally took a bite of the box itself to test my analysis. The cheese was bland and there was absolutely no crust on the bottom of the pizza. For a flatbread place, you would expect the pizza to have a beautiful golden brown or even charred crust on the bottom. But as you can see in the picture, the dough is almost white from not being cooked properly. I’ve had better crusted pizza from Little Caesars or Dominos. The only reason this isn’t a one star is because of the two extremely helpful hostesses that were attentive and quick when placing the order. Kudos to them for helping us with the menus and payment.

We are in Burlington to drop off one of my red headed step children. He had been to this restaurant before so we decided to give it a try.
The ambience is great.
We were in the room with the oven where they make the pizzas. The step child and I split a pizza. We had over half “power to the people” and the other half the “medicine wheel”.
Both halves were great!
My wife got a gluten free crust and that addition is a bit pricey compared to other places we’ve gone. But she also really liked her. I don’t remember what kind but it had olives and stuff like that she likes.
The waitress was also great and friendly.

The flatbread pizza was excellent. I could’ve easily had a few more slices! Though there was a bit of a wait, we enjoyed strolling the nearby streets until our table was ready. Service was quick, and we loved sitting where we could watch the pizzas being made. Definitely a must-try!

American Flatbread is exactly the kind of cozy spot you crave on a cold day. The warmth hits you the second you walk in, followed by the smell of the wood-fired oven doing its magic. The pizzas are huge, perfectly crisp on the outside, soft in the middle, and absolutely loaded with flavor. The staff is genuinely wonderful, the kind of people who make you feel like you’ve been coming there for years.

A pro tip that should honestly be printed on the menu, get the Evolution dressing on the side for your crust. It is life-changing and easily one of the best dipping sauces I’ve ever had. We loved it so much we bought a pint to bring back home to New Jersey.

Make a reservation or you’re going to wait 2+ hours on the weekend.

Incredible experience here! Service was awesome and food tasted. Two of our pizzas were supposed to have no mushrooms, one was correct and the other was not. They remade the incorrect pizza and had it out very fast. That was enough for a great experience, but the manager comped two of our pizzas just for that small inconvenience. If that’s the bar they set, wow, just wow. Beers were delicious, pizzas were fresh and cooked perfectly. Just an overall amazing experience. Will definitely be back next time we’re in the area.

Morgan was amazing. Attentive and on it. Didn’t over serve and watched our table for every need. As soon as the pizza pan was empty and we stopped eating she was over to clear plates and make sure we were taken care of. It was like this our entire visit. Nice to see great service! Seriously could have been a 5 star Michele restaurant and she would have nailed it. The entire staff made us feel at home and they were super happy. They all do the job first and then stay light and lively. They chill and chat with each other, but you can see them glancing at the tables and scanning the room, and you can tell the environment and working team is good together. Just fantastic.

We actually came here for drinks, then went to a families house who had ordered here for takeout, it was so good on the food side we decided to have our last meal in VT here again! Great job! Can’t wait to come back next time I’m in BTV.

American Flatbread Burlington: A Taste of Perfection!

I’m obsessed with American Flatbread in Burlington! This place is a game-changer for flatbread lovers. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with a warm, rustic decor that sets the tone for a delicious meal.

The flatbreads? TO. DIE. FOR. Each bite is a masterclass in flavor and texture. From classic margherita to creative combinations like fig and prosciutto, every option is expertly crafted. And the ingredients? Fresh, high-quality, and locally sourced whenever possible.

The service is top-notch, with friendly staff who are happy to offer recommendations or answer questions about the menu. The portions are generous, and the prices are reasonable considering the quality and quantity of the food.

If you’re a foodie, or just looking for a great spot to grab a meal with friends or family, American Flatbread Burlington is a must-visit. Don’t miss their weekend specials and events – they’re always buzzing with excitement!

– Fig and prosciutto flatbread (trust me on this one!)
– Weekend brunch specials
– Craft beer selection

Can’t wait to go back and try more!

Stopped here on our road trip from Montreal to Boston. Super cute place with wood burning pizza oven. Service was 5 stars, so attentive and friendly. There is a lunch special for a mini pizza and soup or salad (salad was huge and awesome) for $14.
