The customer service and the atmosphere here is top notch, so welcoming and friendly. It feels like a family atmosphere. I saw several families dining too. You didn’t need to wait too long because someone was always walking around looking around to see if anyone needed anything, but not in a suffocating, hovering way. Every person that came in was warmly greeted. I live 30 minutes away but if I happen to drive by, this is a place where I would bring my kids to if we need to grab food. They are very military friendly too. Thank you my friend that made my dining experience so nice!

The food portions are generous, and our favorite horchata is free refill! The staff kept refilling our chips and horchata even before we finished.
While the food was certainly delicious, what truly stood out was the servers. Every single person was incredibly kind and funny, and they made a point of talking to us.
I’ve been in the US for about a year, and this was the warmest and most wonderful service I’ve experienced at any restaurant so far.
My friend traveled all the way to Los Angeles for their wedding and wanted to try authentic Mexican food. Choosing this restaurant on the last day of their trip was the perfect decision.
Please come and meet the wonderful staff here! I definitely plan to visit again.

Beautiful Everyday
We had our first dinner in LA here and without realising also our very last meal! It’s a family run place with exceptionally good service and good food, huge portions at very reasonable prices. No wonder it’s got such good ratings. Recommended.

The service was exceptional. There were no assigned stations—everyone jumped in to help, bringing chips, refilling drinks, and clearing plates. Truly great service all around. Unfortunately, the food didn’t match the quality of the service. The pastor tacos were just meat and tortilla with no real flavor or garnish, the chile relleno was greasy and flat, and the chicken fajitas were dry, almost as if they’d been precooked and reheated. The chips and salsa were a highlight, though—the chips are fried to order and tasted fresh.

We stopped here before boarding a red eye flight at LAX and it could not have been a better decision. Zacatecas Restaurant in Hawthorne is the perfect stop before or after a flight. It is close to the airport, the service is fast and friendly, and it is exactly the kind of comforting meal you want when traveling.

Went there for dinner during a leisure trip with family. This place is a gem. The people there are amazing and very friendly. We had someone come over every 5 mins to check on us and ensure everything is order. The service overall was outstanding. The food made the experience even better. All of us had ordered something different from the menu and every dish was absolutely fantastic. The quantity was excellent and filling for any adult with good appetite. Must try if you are in the area.
