Staff is friendly, service is quick and food is delicious. We LOVE the cheese curds – they taste just like the ones from the fair! You pull up, order, and they bring it right to your car! Not exactly the most beautiful place in the heart of Pine City, but the service is prompt and food is fresh and we will be back again and again.

Genuinely one of the best fast food restaurants. I think A&W locations vary a lot in quality but this one is very good and I have not had a bad experience. The papa burger is very good and the lettuce and tomato actually tastes fresh, and the sauce is very good. Fries at above average, cheese curds are some of the best I’ve had, and the root beer and ice cream are top tier.

Oh the nostalgia! Burgers taste exactly like I remember them! Juicy and delicious. Onion rings cooked to crispy perfection and the root beer floats are wonderful. Staff is great too. Service with a smile.

We spent about $50 on three combo meals, which is far too much for the quality received. The chicken strips were not fresh. They were dry, tough, and tasted old. The chili dog was also poor quality, with an unappealing texture and flavor. Even the root beer was disappointing, watered down and flat with no fizz. Overall, the food quality did not justify the price, and this was not a good experience.

Road trip got us in a nostalgic mood and a pit stop to an A & W drive-in was the fix. Standard fast food menu of burgers, dogs and chicken strips and sandwiches. My Papa burger came with double beef patties, lettuce, cheese, tomato and pickles. A side of cheese curds was a plus as they were hot, cheesy and gooey. Food came quick and hot. The only drawback was the room temperature root beer that came with no ice.

This specific location brings back nostalgia for me. I will always enjoy a stop here and I don’t live nearby. I was here today with family and of course, it was great like always. We ate inside but I have been at the drive-in many times. Always fast and friendly service, delicious food and a clean atmosphere. I will keep coming back without a doubt!
