An unforgettable dining experience in Glasgow! We loved the ‘small plates’ concept which allowed us to try a variety of dishes, and honestly, every single one was a hit. The vegetable dishes (especially the beetroot and the burrata with pumpkin) were vibrant and fresh, and the meat dishes were cooked to perfection. The atmosphere is cozy yet lively, perfect for a dinner with friends. Great food, great vibe, and excellent service. Highly recommended!

I ordered the three-course meal and had mixed expectations based on my previous visit, which was actually very good and the reason I decided to return.
The barbecued sea bream crudo was fantastic — fresh, well-balanced, and easily the highlight of the meal.
Unfortunately, the experience went downhill with the main course. The slow-cooked feather blade was very disappointing. It was dry, extremely chewy, and looked burnt on the outside, which took away from both the texture and flavour.
Dessert was the biggest let-down. The 68% Bare Bones chocolate crèmeux tasted overwhelmingly sweet. I couldn’t detect any depth or richness from the chocolate — just sugar. It was so cloying that I genuinely struggled to finish it.
Given how much I enjoyed my previous visit, this was quite disappointing. Sadly, after today’s experience, I don’t think I’ll be coming back.

Please ensure that your server, Nadia, is rewarded in some way or another for her exceptional service & attention to detail. She is truly a credit to your team and made my birthday lunch unbelievably special! She was undoubtedly a highlight of our visit and I left your establishment glowing all thanks to her kindness (and, of course, the amazing food at Ox & Finch!)

Legitimately, our only feedback (that we provided at the end of the meal) was that we felt mash may have been a better fit for a side dish as opposed to the chips but, truly, that’s the only thing we would have changed!

Your manager was also brilliant (we had a brief interaction but he couldn’t have been nicer). We are so glad we chose Ox & Finch for our afternoon and we will most certainly be back!

First time being here , the table near the front door are very draughty but it was a cold night in february.
The food and service here is great, very healthy food made with great skill at a good price. They also have a great selection of wines but some wines can be expensive ,but beers and other drinks are around similar prices to other premises.
4 stars only as we got a table at the door that was very cold everytime the door was opened.

Baked beetroot was quite outstanding. Overall good quality food for what we paid for

We ordered two desserts both got bread elements in it so we felt a bit too heavy. Nevertheless it’s a good attempt to try to be creative.

We were in on Saturday night, food was beautiful, decor is lovely but the stand out thing for us was your staff, especially Angus, the one who looks like the actor from dexter, we had a laugh with him about this, his knowledge of the menu and his help and advice on our food order was much appreciated, he really is a credit to your wonderful restaurant. We cant wait to return for some great food and fantastic service.

We were very impressed by the service and efficiency of the staff here. All of the dishes we tried tasted fantastic, especially the feather blade of beef. The chips were perfectly crispy yet fluffy on the inside, with a beautiful roast garlic aïoli to go with it. High-quality food at affordable prices: what more could you want?

if i could give it more than 5 stars i would! came here to celebrate my partner’s birthday and to say that they made this a really memorable one is a sheer understatement. upon greeting us, they wished him happy birthday, showed us to our table (with a very very lovely handwritten birthday note!!!). dishes were all spectacular. whipped cod roe and crudo where phenomenal. they even made their broccoli and hummus so phenomenal! we had to get additional flat bread to clean the hummus completely. to top it off, the lovely waiter (didn’t get his name) ended our extraordinary night with a happy birthday ice cream on the house. thank you ox and finch! we’ll definitely be back. (now i know why my partner has been here 3 times)
