This is the second time I’ve ordered a custom cake from Sweetness and Honey & they did amazing both times. The first time I ordered a custom vegan cake for my friends 30th birthday and it was absolutely amazing. The second (and more recent) time I ordered was a gluten free cake for my brothers welcome home family party from his recent deployment. Many family members even commented how great the gluten free cake was. Kerri’s turnaround time is fast and is very responsive via email.
With both cakes I was able to send inspiration photos & let Kerri put her own spin on the decorative part of the cake and she did amazing both times. Not only did they look beautiful but they tasted amazing!
Kerri and her team are true professionals and very talented. Both times that I’ve visited in the store the people working the front desk were super friendly and helpful. I also love stopping in there randomly if I have a small event I want to get some last minute cupcakes or yummy treats for. When doing this, I recommend going early in the morning because they sell out fast on a Saturday morning (which isn’t surprising because their cupcakes are wicked good).
Thank you Kerri & team for providing amazing cakes. I will continue reaching out when in need of a cake or cupcakes for special events.

I’ve been ordering many cakes and various desserts from Sweetness and Honey since they’ve opened and have always been so impressed! The flavors they offer are so great and they can even accept an order of “remember that specialty cake you offered for the holidays 3 years ago… I’d like that again”. They have hit the nail on designs whether it be Paw Patrol themed or an upscale vow renewal. I only wish I had more events to have big cakes for! We do get all their other desserts which are equally delicious. The people who work here truly go above and beyond. We love Sweetness and Honey Bakery!

We ordered a birthday cake from this shop based on our past experiences, as they had done a decent job until last year. Unfortunately, this time it was a complete letdown.
To be fair, the cake *looked* absolutely beautiful. Presentation-wise, they nailed it. But the moment we cut into it and tasted it, things went downhill fast. What was advertised as a coffee and chocolate cake had almost no trace of either flavor. Instead, it was overwhelmingly sweet, loaded with cream, and completely unbalanced. There was no depth, no coffee notes, no chocolate richness—just sugar and the cake was completely falling apart.
The most telling part? **All 21 out of 21 guests** left the cake untouched on their plates. Pretty much the entire cake was left behind and eventually had to be thrown away because no one wanted to eat it. For a birthday celebration, that was incredibly disappointing and frankly embarrassing.
Given the price and our expectations based on previous years, this felt like a waste of hard-earned money. Sadly, the quality has clearly declined, and we won’t be returning. Stay away unless you’re okay paying a premium for looks alone and throwing the rest in the trash.
Extremely disappointed. I would rste them negative if I had the option to.
