This is a nice family owned diner with a broad menu full of favorite comfort foods. We went on a Sunday, had a short wait (popular place), service was friendly & helpful. Generous portions are served. I had the liver & onions with hash browns, came with a side of corn & a bowl of wedding soup. My wife had the BLT & fries, with a salad and house dressing. It was all very good. I look forward to future visits, I’d love to try the stuffed cabbage rolls and gyro platter.

If I could give zero stars I would. I had an extremely disappointing experience at Canary Restaurant and won’t be returning. It started the moment we walked in with the hostess. When we tried to let her know that there was still money left on the table from the previous customers, she completely snapped at us and said “it’s for the waitress.” She was incredibly rude and just angrily walked away without even looking at us or properly clearing the space.
The cleanliness of the restaurant is a major issue. While the table had been wiped, it was definitely not thoroughly cleaned and still felt greasy and gross. Sitting there with the leftover change from the previous party just made the whole environment feel neglected.
The service from our waiter was nice but they were not very attentive at all. As for the food, you can really taste the rush. Everything was incredibly bland and the burger bun was completely soggy. It felt like the kitchen was just throwing plates together as fast as possible with zero quality control. Between the rude greeting and the dirty atmosphere, this place is not worth it.

Classic Americana. Probably some of the best pancakes I’ve had from a dinner. Food came out quick. They have a full menu of your typical diner fare. It’s very no frills but they do that very well. Hash browns were crispy, bacon was real bacon not your regular opaque trash that others use to cut costs & did i mention the pancakes?

Fast easy and great. The food is always piping hot fresh out of the kitchen. Live this place. It’s huge there’s never a wait. For anything. Drinks coffee butter. Sugar free syrup. They check on you constantly. It’s awesome. Can’t say enough about how good it really is.

What a wonderful restaurant Canarys Family Restaurant was to host my Aunts 90th birthday party for 30 people in a private room. EVERYBODY raved about how good the food was, how fast the food delivery was and flawless with the orders, the waitress staff was absolutely amazing! Very attentive, accommodating and friendly. Being able to have everyone order whatever they wanted from the menu was PERFECT too! We were THRILLED with this venue in every way! Many people that attended the party were not familiar with the restaurant but said they will certainly make sure they come back! Thank you all at Canary’s restaurant for everything you did to make this special birthday gathering a wonderful, memorable experience!! You guys deserve a 10 star rating!!

It’s what you would expect, which isn’t a bad thing. The food is good, affordable and consistent.
The service is fast. Like, too fast. You get your food and often the check is dropped on the table at the same time. If you don’t immediately leave upon finishing your meal, the server will stand nearby and glare at you until you do. It’s uncomfortable. I know they make their money flipping tables since prices are low but sometimes I want to sit and finish my coffee. If they had it their way you’d be leaving 15 minutes after you sit down.
